Joliet Ill should be the next camera spot
The Chicago Rail Link job, originating out of the Irondale shops in south Chicago, they will head west on, it’s either their tracks or the BRC, to metra’s rock line at a crossover just north of blue island, where this job hops on the rock, will switch a lumber place called great northern in blue island, I believe, as well as do interchange work with the Iowa interstate. They’ll head further west to mokena (which is the only time they’ll pass the camera) to switch out schillings lumber as needed. Times also vary, I’ve seen them as early as 1pm or as late at 7 or 8pm.
Not sure how they got the switching rights to schillings, as the line belongs to CSX and metra, and then you have Iowa interstate who switches out ozinga just a few hundred yards away. Interesting operation out there.
The ozinga job will likely also be caught eventually when it starts to get warmer. Usually just a bunch of black hoppers with ozinga labeled on the side, which comes in on the SIBI, or CBBI as the hoppers are loaded in Chillicothe, serviced by Iowa’s Bureau Local a couple hours west of here in central IL and then delivered by a yard job out of BI
Tower 26 is great.
