If you are referring to video games causing mental illness, there isn't any proof of that. Yes there could be a link between people spending their time at home and mental illness, but it is also the way we are brought up. Less people hide their issues.
The Atari then PlayStation put the end to these , you don’t see the kids even in the ones that are around today , my kids don’t go near them when we go to the movies . But now we have them in our homes I cannot get a go on my PlayStation when the kids are home

kids don't go near them because the operators are predatory and fill the things with shitty ticket games and nothing people actually want to play

$0.20c in the late seventies is what I remember as well.
$1.00 in 1976 America is $4.41 in 2018. 20 cents then is 88 cents now.
