The Mary chain ,The Smiths, The Bunnymen, my three fave bands of the 80's (and probably all time)
was lucky enough to see all three live back then, All great live even if the mary chain was chaotic. Years later listening to them got me into Mazzy star
( another cool band). 30+ years later and still listening.

Back in the 80s my best friend and I worked all over the country floor laying and we used to have this song cued up on the cassette to play as loud as we could as we swerved away from work on the Friday afternoons...it was always the first song we played!
Was the best song ever to play, loud as hell as we were heading home for a weekend of drinking and shagging.
Just listening to it again brings it all back!

It's a cliche to say that this is an underrated band, but let's face it: it *is* an underrated band.
Their 2024 North America tour starts in the City of Brotherly Love on September 29. Franklin Music Hall in Philadelphia. All the cool "kids" will be there with me and the wifey. Looking forward to seeing them after all of these years.

They 've always had a HUGE fanbase in Greece, from the very beginning! That fanbase is ever growing, to the day! They also played live numerous times here! I found this band by accident in 2002. One night on VH1(back then they played music) they played two songs by JAMC and I was hooked.

Great tune from 1987 had it on cd too from their darklands album too. Also had the words to it in smash hits then too.
The 80's!!! BEST TIME OF MY LIFE. Redondo Beach, KROQ, 91X SURFING, SKATEBOARDING, driving my 1971 PLYMOUTH ROADRUNNER. JOINED NAVY AND STARTED JUMPIN OUT OF AIRPLANES IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT INTO AN OCEAN ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WORLD AND BLOWING SHIT UP. FUCKIN' 80's!!! So much fun and great music. My kids play all this music.

I love 2 songs by this band. Some Candy Talking and April Skies. The tune is so great in both songs. This track is my favourite! We've done a quadruple-album on Bandcamp. No Serial Killer.

Saw them live im Hamburg/Germany last Friday. That was a fuckin awesome gig.. I can tell you. They played nearly 2 hours and the sound was crystal clear, they had a fantastic set list.. everything was just great that night. Can't stop listening to this song ever since... loved it for decades before.

You tube blows my mind, in the 80's I'd sit through hours of MTV with my hand on the record button on the VCR just praying for a video like this to come on...
