Hegotkickz unfortunately as far as putting in bids goat is lacking , stockx notifies a seller in real time of a new highest bid. With goat the seller has to manually check if there was a higher bid put in. This is my only issue with goat and I don’t understand why they don’t change this.

This happened to me. Bought cement 4s. NEW. The right shoe was tried on so it had some dirt. They sent me pictures before sending them to me . The seller offered a 15% off. And they gave me the option to accept. Or deny. Goat was very fair. Professional. I’ve bought over 5 pairs (pricey) ones and never had any issues
Hegotkickz purchased a “pre authenticated” wave runner 700 from goat & went to my shop that does buying & selling & legit checks. We compared them to a ds pair from ys that they had & the Pair from goat was not even close. I’m very concerned that the authenticator either swapped out a legit pair with a fake pair and sent me the fake pair or the authenticator is the seller and is selling all his fakes and just passing them. I’m very concerned goat won’t end up crediting me & accusing me of swapping pairs &
Sending back the fakes meanwhile it was the authenticator that swapped in the fakes. The one thing about stockx that’s actually better is as long as it has that scannable tag that passed authentication you can always resell it. I wish goat would use the same method. My pAir from goat didn’t even come with the authentication checklist. Very concerned I’m gonna be out 410$ & stuck

You don't want to say "They don't care...," but you're exactly right. They don't care cuz it all comes down to the verificators and it doesn't affect their paycheck. And the higher-ups dnt care enough to fix these problems. I've had countless issues with them and every time, it makes me wanna throw hands. Just have to be patient until a competitor comes up that I can depend on for good cuz I already decreased my StockX usage but GOAT is a lil to expensive for me..

I'm warning everyone...Yes, StockX does a great job considering the amount of inventory they get. Usually, most of the time, you'll be good copping from them. However, I live in Detroit, and toured Stock X...and a verifier mixed up a fake with a real sneaker which I caught and they played it off like "oops lol". Be careful!

I feel you. I don’t mess w/ StockX anymore. I bought a pair of DS fresh mint max 95’s that had a stain, & smelled like an ash tray. I complained of course, & they tried to tell me that the smell probably came from the transport truck. Theres no way. They would not take them back of course, & offered me a coupon for free shipping on my next order. Hell to the naw, naw, naw! I deleted my account.

I've received a stained/ flawed sneaker from stockx before. It was my first and only time buying from them. Their prices are better than GOAT, but I think GOAT has better customer service.

@@Hegotkickz stockx would be out of business...I have had a bad situation with GOAT resolved with a refund before I received the flawed (b-grade) sneaker. Stockx probably would've sent the shoe based on what I've seen and heard. I hope you can get off the too big pair of 3's. Best wishes

Same here my first and only shoe from them had a pretty big flaw and they said it was a normal factory flaw and nothing they could do about it.
They got to reject both or accept both. I don’t buy a lot of pairs from them, especially when they started charging tax but the few times I bought it every time was smooth.

That’s crazy! I’ve never personally had a bad experience with StockX, everything has arrived mint and rather quickly. I’m actually in the middle of an issue with Goat. I bought a “new with good condition box” pair of Air Max Susans from Goat that arrived with sock lint and dog hair in them, along with a worn, dented, torn box with some food/wax/mystery substance on it. I wrote to Goat 3-4 days ago, still no response.....I’ll update if they provide a resolution.

jimy0803 I agree!! EVERY company in EVERY industry messes up from time to time. I’m not mad at them for that-mistakes are made, no one’s perfect. It’s whether they own their mistakes and make things right with the customer that determines whether I continue to do business with them (or any other place of business for that matter). Goat got back to me, apologized and had me send more specific pictures and information. I’ll post what comes of it. Hopefully they do take care of the situation because I do like doing business with them and would like to continue to do so....
Hegotkickz Goat did get back to me, they reviewed the case, apologized, and agreed that they weren’t in the condition that was expected with a DS shoe purchase. They issued a partial credit towards a future purchase, I’m happy with that. I think it just slipped past them because of the holiday volume. All is good again with Goat 😎

I ordered a pair on may 19th, and it is june 9th and they have yet to even authenticate it. They have turned into a joke and keep getting worse. Now they just continue to use covid as an excise. Even though i have bought at least 50 different items(clothing, shoes, shoe cleaning porducts, laces, containers etc) over the last couple months from many different outifts and many there was no delay at all, a few were a 2-4 days longer. If they dont ship them in the next couple days it wil be at least a month by the time i recieve my order.

I buy and sell from StockX and I feel like they pick and choose what they pass. I’ve had shoes sent back because the box was slightly creased but I’ve received shoes from StockX where the box was torn. I’ve also received shoes with manufacturer defects that they failed the shoes I was trying to sell. So yeah I agree with you. With StockX you have to shop and sell at your own risk.
If I order something from stockx, means I desperately want the shoe.

Idk how everyone has issues with stockx like this. I've sold/bought tons of kicks on stockx and never had a problem...the one problem I had wasnt even on stockx, one of the kicks I sold got lost in transit with ups, they gave me my money immediately after I sent them a picture of my drop off receipt.

What I've noticed is a lot of resellers hate stockx due to it giving the everyday person an easy way to flip shoes which lowers the market value. People feed into the negative feedback resellers give then when 1 thing goes wrong they claim stockx is trash. The perfect example is how everyone is running with the "stockx got hacked so delete your account" stuff but nobody talking about goatapp being hacked too. Lol

Requiem1Truth agreed, however I’ve only bought and sold a few times on StockX and I’ve had my account hacked 2 times in the past year alone (been using since 2017) Goat on the other hand I’ve bought probably double the amount of shoes and have been using it since 2015 when they were called “Air Goat” and haven’t been hacked once. Not saying it’s impossible for Goat accounts to be hacked but I haven’t had an issue with them. Selling wise StockX is the way to go imo because of the free bank transfer but because of the hacked stuff I’m starting to stray away.
I wore a pair of $2k kicks around the crib for 3 hours. I switched laces even. I ended up not liking them, put the OG laces back in and tied them OG style. Passed authentication flawlessly. I've received sneakers with flaws on them so I was happy to finally get a W on stockx because they made me lose hundreds of dollars sending me sneakers with defects and flaws, like red dye bleeding onto gray suede. StockX doesn't really do their job, at least not on very pricey sneakers.
I just stick with the companies that make the shoes! I don’t have time to be worrying about if I can return the product if I don’t like something or if it’s legit or not. Fuxxk taking chances when I work hard for mines

Stock X sent me two different colored shoes so I believe when they did this to you. I think it depends on the person who gets your shoe to verify, haven’t paid resale since. Was a great experience for me cause it let me know how thirsty I actually was. Had to get that in check now I only get retail dubs. I’d wear fake shoes before I pay resale.

I purchased a pair of Jordan 3 white cement shoes for Stockx. The box was ripped and dented, the vintage pamphlet was missing and the tissue was shredded. I purchased this to keep as a collectors item and it was nowhere near new. This was my first purchase from them and I was highly disappointed.

I bought the royal toe 1s through StockX and when I received the shoes I instantly noticed the toe box on one of the shoes had really bad vertical crease lines in it. The lines are noticeable and can be felt on the inside of the shoe. I emailed them right away and they said the shoes passed their verification standards and that there’s nothing they could do. They suggested I resell them even though I wouldn’t get my money back for them. I’ll be sticking with Goat as my go to from now on

Ug… I’ve had issues with both stock x and goat but yes, at least with goat you can send them back. It’s unbelievable you cannot do that with stock x. I had a great track record with stock x until my last purchase which just left me screwed. Never again.

Yup verification is based on who is verifying your order. I usually don't stress it too much and put it on human error. Stockx has its flaws and so does goat app...even authorized retailers can burn you. Lol As consumers we have to understand that no company is perfect and we definitely have to shop at our own risk especially when we buy from the secondary market.

Wow this is crazy sir. I feel what you said, you want the wrong made right not a 40 dollar discount. I purchased the jordan 4 Levi (Levi tag) for 380ish around this time last year. I have never wore the shoe still to this day. Shoe has clear signs of being worn. Jordan logo underneath is chipped, shoe came laced up, no shoe paper in box. I did not pay 400$ for a used shoe. Never called or messaged stockx because of their reputation for awful customer service. Now I know this is all my fault and I take the L fully for not trying but it goes to show their sytem is clearly flawed. One minute is not enough time to validate a shoe. I buy and sell shoes though stockx all the time and never had a problem till this incident. Its disappointing(shoe still has stockx tag on it) I feel I could easily sell the shoe back on stockx but that doesn't seem fair for someone else who may love shoes as much as I do

Some people are more uptight about how a shoe looks, verifiers and consumers. You cant be mad at a company doing something like that. Exactly why i dont use stockx. Not so much because of the company but for the fact that someone else is checking your shoe and this is why

The only reason I use StockX is to sell some cheap clearance DS shoes. I wouldn’t give them higher up shoes like yeezys, which a lot of people seem to have a lot of “authenticity” problems.

This part of why I haven't pulled the trigger on any resale sneaker. First off they want to charge you too dam much for a shoe that's mostly made up of mostly cotton, and rubber. Secondly because most of these shoes are the same dam shoe but diff color, and charge allot sometimes solely because of the colorway. 💀 Better off buying designer sneakers at this point or just buying these on release date when the prices make sense.

Awhile back ago I bought a pair of champagne 6s from goat and they came in and had a deep scuff mark and I went through a living hell to get refunded and I had to contact the better business bureau. Eventually they realized the fucked up and refunded me the whole amount after I sent the shoes but took about a month to see my refund. That was the last time I ever bought shoes off those apps
StockX sent back my Jordan 21s that were deadstock. They sent an email back saying they had signs of wear due to the side of midsole having a mark from moving around so much from the og box. I was upset with that since they never been worn since original release. I got the shoes back and the markings came off instantly. I can’t do anything about it either which I think is bullshit too.
I bought doernbecher 14s and they look like ass. The left shoe was bowed out like someone with too big of a foot tried it on and glue all over the place. I’ve seen plenty 14s with crap glue jobs so I wasn’t surprised but just pissed bc why the didn’t they reject it?
I had this experience where i bought a jordan 1 low. And the first thing i notice is the creas although its just a light crease. I was a bit confused but im happy anyways coz it is what it is..

Everyone should be watching where they buy their shoes. Sneaker game is all over the place. Ive bought quite a few of Jordans from Stockx and have had no problems. Now that doesnt mean it wont happen. You said you have done business with them for quite awhile. They werent fake right? I dont know their complete process on certification on a shoe. Maybe if the shoe is real but has a mark on them the person looking at them says yes or no. I think if the sneaker is real but has a mark on them they should be put on hold and the buyer should have the say so to send or not. With the money we all pay for these sneakers Quality control needs to be tightened up. Along with communication.
Ive had DS shoes not pass authentication before and usually if you sell them on a difft account theyll pass, also it helps to check for any glue stains and stuff cuz if its just a brown stain it might pass but a brown stain with glue stains might not pass

I've sent them deadstock shoes I haven't even been out of the box they denied them but I've gotten choose where there's no paper or anything inside of it the Box actually had the sticker ripped off and the correct one put on Unfortunately they put it on the wrong color box the pair I ordered was supposed to come in a black box these just came in a Air Force Ones and they are Jordans I asked for my money back and they sent me a code free tracking I had to do a lot of back and forth but and the end I was able to return it unfortunately with small stuff like that you're going to want to go send the shoe back refuse to $40 if it's not too late and get your money back and go to goat trust a little bit more money but you're at least safe and you can make returns

My shoe I bought from stock x it came and it didn’t smell like brand new smell and there was some rice or sticky thing that you could only Notoce in the dark with a flash and the foam was kind or creased and It was kinda scratched and I got a good price on it but I don’t. Think these authenticators actually look super carefully they just check things that are really noticeable
I feel like stockx sucks in America but I’ve purchased from EU HQ and the pair of j1s I received were perfect and legit, quick delivery time too.

My brother used these Thrasher Vans and asked me if it looks like he wore it, and you deadass could tell it was worn, but he sent them to Stock X regardless and they still took it and gave my brother his money 💀.
I stopped using StockX after the whole data breach. They are the worst. Our community needs to stop using them. Make them change their ways. Too many of these stories all over UA-cam and Twitter. Don’t give them your money anymore.

I tried buying from stockx once, but had a bad experience. Customer service sucks. I been buying and selling from Goat now. Even though Goat is more expensive. It gives me peace of mind.

I recently bought the Jordan 1 court purple and the right shoe had a dent on the bottom sole, I believe it was a B grade but their customer service sucks so I just excepted it, it’s a shame that they don’t respond to a complaint as quickly as they do when it comes time to deduct the money from your account.. I believe GOAT has much better customer service.

I got a fake pair of “off white UNC” Jordan ones and is was missing a whole stitch on the side along with the font and letter sizing was wrong and had a stamp on it that can only be seen if a black light is lit on it which companies that make fakes will put on the shoe. Not all but some.

About a month ago, Stockx returned my AJ5 Grape (2018) stating that it was 1) missing the hang tag & 2) the soles were yellowing. I replied to them that these sneakers do not come with a hang tag, & the bottom actually were not yellow at all. I do not see any yellowing but they did, so they stopped my sale. Stockx really sucks when they want to.

I bought an early release pair of Obsidian 1s. The QR Barcode on the box and tongue tag was dotted out with black marker. I'm guessing I got some really good UAs. I didn't even bother because the quality of the shoe was pretty good but it did leave me going WTF.

something like this happen to me. I sold a pair of the obsidian air force lows and the first time they failed verification because they were “worn” however the shoe was BRAND NEW... they sent it back and i resold it like a week later & the same damn shoe passed verification. Lol
