As a local (NYC metro area) rail fan, these offerings are viewers "bliss"! I so much enjoy your sightings & reference points. Well done, sir! Thank you, Peter; out!
love the variety of equipment on display, especially the F40 PH's. Was leaving Boston yesterday and got to ride a train being pushed by one for the first time, fun experience.
You seem to be a guy who exudes a lot of positivity and love! I respect people like you and believe that the world needs more people like you. Please keep putting out more such videos. Sure beats watching politics!!!
Awesome video! That diesel show near the end was incredible. Surprised to see the NJT F40PH, thought they were retired. Used to see them on the AC line ages ago. I need to get out more.
Too bad you didn't catch that double-header as it came in on train 58... With a whole other train behind it. It was almost like the two F40's were DPU'S, plus there was a Geep on the hind end. Quite the sight 😏
Tim I saw conductor Paul today at Grand Central Terminal and he told me to get your butt over there he wants to see you. Sorry I didn't take a video I hadda run to restroom 😢
There are a few MU sets that run to Great Notch. One particular one I know of is train 267/262. There's a couple in the morning as well. On weekends, the Bay Street shuttle is usually run with an MU set.
They can only run the MU’s in/out of Hoboken. They can’t change voltages to go to NY. They run a couple of MU’s to Dover to/from Hoboken in rush hours.

Great array of trains!! The Pennsy livery looks good! Thanks Tim💚👌
That PRR livery is awesome!
Loved it as always, Tim!
That Pency was COOL!
12:45 I saw them put 4119 on the train as my train was leaving to go to spring valley
Thanks for another nice. I always liked railfanning at Secaucus.

Politics can really get in your head, but it works out fine if it has a happy ending.
Love the F40 PH’s
4100 was acting lake 4105 used to and GP40WH-2’s of MARC.
Wowza
13:27 4100 sounds a bit ill.... also that's one of the ex CNJs it's a regular -2
It's been like that since September. I'm surprised it hasn't been taken care of.
Hoboken Station is pretty neat .

Portal Bridge is always a bottleneck on the Northeast Corridor
5:06 too bad Brookville BL20GH’s stopped this so long ago, especially with reverse sets to Waterbury

@@ThomasELeClair It was delivered by overseas from Germany 🇩🇪
Did you see Metro North Penn Central heritage units? Looks like the 201 Conrail what do you think of it Tim?🤢
I thought it would be painted black
@@3985uprr that's my point
Quick question, why are Montclair trains out of Hoboken diesel power? Isn't the entire trip electrified? Thanks!
It is but they generally use them on the NY runs. Sometimes they run an electric but most of the trains from Hoboken go beyond to Boonton line points

@3985uprr from what I've heard, the voltage can be changed on the Arrows, but manually only.
@@AaronTheEagle1 It’s a slow process. Not instantly like on the ALP46’s
Anything that NJT has is better than SEPTA. Don't get me wrong SEPTA has some good equipment but SEPTA does not really take care of what they have.
I must agree when you compare things.
Thanks for the kind words.
