Praise God!! This is a great hymn, well sung. That excellent organ was played magnificently. The recess by the choir was dignified. Many years ago, during Founder's Day of the CMS Grammar School, we will practice in the church and have the service on June 6th at the Cathedral. In my first year - Dr. Abayomi Phillips directed us. Then Mr. Oladeinde (Baba Mose) became Music teacher and took over. In my Form 5, I was privileged to carry the cross. The Cathedral Church of Christ - the pipe organ, the magnanimous choir and the remarkable congregation - a thing of absolute Joy. The Lord bless you and keep you all.
Wow! I praise God that these posts have brought back vivid memories of how the Cathedral's music has lifted you and even made an indelible imprint in your psyche all these years! The Cathedral at Marina is such a tremendous landmark, not only in the lives of many Nigerians, past and present, but also in the history of the nation.
