    I'm stupidly new to photo editing. While I've watched a lot of people use "masks" and the brush tool, they went too fast for me to follow but your demonstration really helped me to better understand it. Thank you.

    Angela, great tutorial. But is shows why removing LAYERS from LAi was not a great idea. We had layers in L4 and need them back! Tell the devs!

    I really enjoy single coloring. I have been doing this since Luminar 4. Not only do I use selective color, I also will bring up some background colors ever so slightly. I myself like using this on plants and flowers to slightly enhance my subject color.

    hi Angela, you hit the 'x' key to erase the mask from your subject but which key did you click to return back to paint please ? thank you xx

      The same operation to revert back .... the 'x' key

      Yi Yvonne - Andrew is correct. You can use the X key to toggle back and forth between paint and erase. Sorry for not making that more clear in the video! ~Angela

    nice effect. What you say about Luminar X is not totally right and I have big discussions with skylum about that. when you visit market place, you see on some signature collections, skies,... "included in Luminar AX" and there are a lot already. but every month you receive an old one and you have no idea how many monthes you will need to have the one you want. An example is the monochromatic you show which is not in my account. I have most of your looks and skies so in my Luminar X i receive looks... I have already.
    can you please explain ?

      Hi Marc - I'm sorry for the confusion. We're looking at ways to make the terms of Luminar X more clear.
      If a pack in the Marketplace is marked as being available with Luminar X, but you haven't received it yet, it will be included in one of your future deliveries. However, at the moment, there is no way to see on the website when you'll receive it at the moment.
      If you receive a pack that you've already purchased individually, please reach out to our support team at www.skylum.com/support and we can swap it for another pack.
      I hope that helps a bit. If you have any additional questions, please reach out to support and we'll do our best to answer them for you.

    You didn't tell me how to load my own skies. Images that I shot myself. You only showed how to load packs provided by Luminar. I have many fabulous skies in my portfolio that I would like to add. How do I do that? I seem to be able to get a sky into Sky Selection, but it won't stay in the list.

      Hi Victor - The process is the same. Just compile a folder of your favorite sky images and install them into Luminar AI using the same steps as for Sky Packs.

    When you download your assets from your Luminar AI account do they go directly to the Luminar software or to a separate folder?

    • @LuminarGlobal
      @LuminarGlobal  3 роки тому

      Hi Cathy - They go to your Downloads folder and can be installed from there. Which specific assets did you download? (i.e. Templates, skies, etc.) I'm happy to give you instructions on installing them.

      @@LuminarGlobal Hi Angela, I understand that they go to my downloads, but rich mentioned in the Deep Dive that the skies we purchase should go to the sky folder. I'm also having another problem with connecting to my Iphotos. I can bring my photos into Luminar from iPhotos, but them Luminar AI does not seem to be working with the photos. In other words, once the photo moves from iPhoto to Luminar it appears to lock up and although I see the templates and the editing tools they do not respond when I click on them Any suggestions?
