Dart Zone Thunderbolt internals !!!!!!!!

I had to open it , it’s basically a spectrum so there are cages available to hop this bad boy up. Trigger looks a little different but it’s probably the same other than that you should be able to get it hitting hard with ease .

I was glad to find out some Dart Zone flywheel cages are in fact interchangeable since nearly all the screw posts line up. Found a Adventure Force Light Command with a broken flywheel motor, and to save money, took the flywheel cage to a Spectrum I found for only $3 and rewired it in place. I sadly had to Dremel holes into the side of the blaster to get the Spectrum cage installed as the motor mounts are set slightly lower compared to the Light Commands stock cage. I would have avoided all of that and just swopped the motors if the Light Commands flywheels didn't crack upon removal. But overall the job is so clean, not even my friends notice and the blaster functions like new again!

The pusher looks to me like a hybrid pusher! I wonder if it's compatible with a flywheeler may adapter

Unfortunately it’s not a hybrid but a spectrum short dart pusher works great!

Ya gotta love it when the geometries of previous blasters just line up. its like a surprise inside and it's less work lol

This is the only video/post i've seen open up the thunderbold. Thanks for the confirmation! Hopefully i can just put a spectrum half dart pusher and get it to work that way.

its a spectrum inside? but Thunderbolt has higher fps than Spectrum
