    Fun fact! Domane is the anagram of Madone and Emonda

    Few days ago I tried a trek SL 6 from a store in Tokyo and despite being a short Ride..it felt amazing, soothing , and so comfortable yet aggressive then it was priced at 320,000 yen .. don't test ride those machines cos you will get hooked!

    I got TREK MADONE SLR6 2020 March 22. As soos as I faced MADONE, I was feeling happy. TREK manufactured by all staffs is ART. After all, We all are connected by TREK. Also LOVE DOMANE.

    Excellent bike. I own a 2018 Domane SLR 6 Disc. In black. The ride is truly amazing. The Trek brand name is almost invisible on the black version. I only wish the Trek brand name was more visible!

    I own the 2014 Domane Classics (Project One). This bike is like riding an electric bike! I own a titanium LeMond, a steel Davidson Stiletto (racing), S-Works Roubaix and borrowed a Cannonade Synapse and all of them are below standard when comparing them the Domane Project one endurance bike. I am selling the others and buying another Domane Project One. I own an electric Mt. Bike for just having fun and the Domane by Trek feels like it's got electricity assisting me. It's cheating without cheating. You just have to have a job that offers you overtime so you can justify buying it. But it is worth every penny.

    Fantástica! Já era de meu desejo ser dono de uma Domane, seria a bike ideal em minha região. Agora conhecendo a nova Domane, o desejo de ter uma dessas, só aumenta! Infelizmente, um modelo como esse, ou qualquer outra Domane vendida no Brasil, devido ao injusto e assassino imposto colocado sobre cada bike, tira o sonho e desejo de muitos daqueles que apreciam a marca Trek, por isso acabam não tendo escolha e optam por outra marca e mais barata.. realidade do Brasil é essa... é triste :/
    curto os vídeos do canal, são ótimos, e claro, com legendas em português, isso é muito bom!

    did anyone notice the voice edit where he said the percentages ? both 10% and 14% are added to the audio later on !!!

      Yeah that was unsettling.

      @libertyprime9307 5 років тому +3

      @@dertraurigerest Nothing unsettling about it. He just said "more compliance than the original Domane", without knowing the exact numbers, which were then added in because the producers figured the precise values would be a nice thing to know.

    I ride a 2014 Domane and use a 30 mm tire up front - 28 mm on rear. The front tire handles loose sand and holes better and there's less need for a big tire on the rear. 5 years of pounding over the rough stuff. I retightened the decoupler last week for the first time - it took 2 minutes. Game changing bike! So Domane, Madone, Emonda are taken, what other names can we get from the same six letters? Mondea, Damone, Mendoa?

    What is the torque setting value for front isospeed? What is setting value for the back isospeed on SL5 without slider?

    • @trekbikes
      @trekbikes  3 роки тому

      For the front IsoSpeed, the bolt has a torque value of 5 Nm. For the rear IsoSpeed, the bolt has a torque value of 8 Nm. These values should also be printed directly on the bolt heads!

  • @JGstunts22
    @JGstunts22 4 роки тому

    I have a new SL6 and I didn't feel much compliance in the front . Took the brow cover and stem off and the metal part that is supposed to move freely barley moves with force . What are the side bolts supposed to be tightened to for tourque? Maybe the shop assembled it incorrectly?

    • @trekbikes
      @trekbikes  4 роки тому

      5.2Nm is the suggested torque spec for the front IsoSpeed bolt

    • @JGstunts22
      @JGstunts22 4 роки тому

      @@trekbikes yeah I found that online . It was at much higher . Some of these shops putting these bikes together either dont know or dont care . I always go through and check all my tourque specs when I buy a new bike and almost every bolt on this thing is grossly over tightened lol

    I just got my 2016 Domane 5.2C and I have been thinking about replacing the existing Shimano Ultegra 6800 with Dura-Ace 9000. Do I need Dura-Ace Bottom Bracket 9000? Would BB90 accommodate either FC-6800 or FC-9000 cranksets? Your help is truly appreciated.

    • @trekbikes
      @trekbikes  8 років тому

      The existing bottom bracket would work and not need replaced.

      Young Cashregister Liftime warranty, sponsoring pro teams, liability insurance etc, etc. Just buy last years model, they always discount them at the end of the season.

      That rear slider mold alone costs a fortune, plus all the research and development that goes into these bikes.
