It's the little intricacies, nuances, and patience in Christina's performance as Misty that makes it so captivating.. Ricci has always been so talented when it comes to the subtleties of playing a character.. she's also always been great at making a character that should be unlikable on paper become likable due to her performance and her charm both as a person and an actor..
nearly teared up when christina, by her own admission a sufferer of ptsd, mentioned how well the nineties timeline had portrayed the sort of struggle associated with post-traumatic stress. i don't have the diagnosis, but i came quite close in symptoms at one point, and i must say that this show is relatable to me in a way nothing else has been in my yet humble years of life (save for the one and only _sharp objects)._ it is relatable _because_ of how unabashedly and boldly it explores these dark themes and corners of the human psyche. it is most definitely a sight to behold. to add on a bit, i need to remark upon how touching it is that one of the core psychological aspects in the writing is essentially the women's _longing_ to go back. their comfort in it, in the darkness, and their unwillingness to accept the sane and the healthy. oh how seen i do feel just analysing all this. and obviously, misty here is the most apparent example of being completely at home when stressed and traumatised. i love her for representing that in such an overt way, and i respect christina for playing her so masterfully !
I like Christina. I’m also noticing how frequently she’s contrary in interviews. It’s a regular occurrence. Maybe that’s a just a personality trait, no shade & no characterisation, but I can’t imagine it’s easy on the interviewer who is clearly working to make her feel comfortable.
You know she's gonna have to comeback to talk about Season 3, right? Wait a minute, she always wanted to play a cop?! Some producer in Hollywood, get that woman a shield!

YESSSSSS. i feel like perri is an honorary member of the yellowjackets cast at this point
Perry interviewing Christina? Yeah this is gonna be great. My only complaint is that it isn’t an hour long.

I've grown up watching Ricci and she seems like such an amazing person. Makes me feel really old but I'm so happy she's still in the business! ❤

I would love to see the Goddess Ricci as a hard ass cop, a dirty cop, and/or a super sleuth cop!!!
