Haha Im late but Yu Yan is legit queen!! She is a part of THE9 now (the debuted team!) she got her new solo released on christmas named 薔薇之巔 Palace of Roses(?) its so lit and impressive as well!!! Strongly recommend you two to listen :)
Yeah this song was performed by Hua Chenyu-twice, actually!! The second one is one of my favourites because he wasn’t going to use it but the lyricist/composer of this song (?), who also was a friend, died before his performance and was rather young (I believe 22), so it was sort of like a tribute to her. As a result, his singing that time was filled with meaning and it’s really touching why he chose it.
This is actually their first Stage and the first challenge is group position which all the trainees will have a chance to choose which position they want to compete whether they want to be part of Vocal Team, Rapping Team or the Dance Team. The Vocal Team is Mentoring by Ella Chen, the Rapping Team is Mentoring by Johny J and the Dance Team is Mentoring by Lisa from Blackpink while Kun is the Producers representative and also the one monitoring their Stage performance, The 4 Mentors serves as a judge too.

I love ur reaction and how invested u r but I wish u guys could search up wat the program is abt bc ur getting it wrong. The show youth with you is basically the Korean version of idol producer. This show has 109 trainees from different entertainment company and this round they are separated into rap, vocal, dance categories. Then they are graded by the ppl (audiences)and it effects their class. Such as Class A, Class B, C, D, F. They all then train for the theme song, YES! OK! In which they will be re-evaluated by the mentors based on how they dance into their new Class again. Then they all pick a center. Then they announce the elimination round in which 1-60 trainees stay while the rest r eliminated. Thus begins Round Two in which the PD picks 9 trainees to pick a song they want to perform and pick their own groups (this time everyone is singing live)
