Hey Mike! Lots of dry fly and stimulators. Pat's Stonefly, Deer Hair Caddis, Blue Wing Olive, Foam Beetle and Grasshopper. I did throw on a Copper John, Zebra Midge and beaded ant. I had more luck with the dry fly action. The last fish in the video broke off my grasshopper. I was definitely fly challenged LOL.
Hello Kevin I haven’t came across any the few times I’ve been there. I have seen a few water snakes which can be confused with the cottonmouth. Either way be safe and prepared on your adventures. Thanks for watching!
Excellent video, Crane creek as I remember it!

Badass fish in an awesome stretch of water!

Awesome deal, I'm thinking of possibly hitting it this Saturday.
Sounds good that’s the Crane creek clean up day. I’ll be there.
Have you had any better luck at the access points near wire road conservation area?
It’s been a good minute since I've been back to crane. I have plans to go back in October.
