The best thing to do is to ask yourself what is it you like doing and carve that out for your career.

AZ-104 and then AZ-305 is the best route to become a solution architect

Good video. It kind of also depends what your employer potentially wants or what area of IT you already work in. There's no point going for the Azure Database Administrator if for example you never touch databases in your job, else you're just going to lose that knowledge eventually, not to mention it's a waste of time studying and spending money on exams for subjects you'll never deal with on the job.

      Hey Jimmy,
I agree some what, yes it matters to stay focus, because you will be more valuable with in depth knowledge that you obtain. However as everything moves so quickly and things change you just never know what would be thrown at you in DevOps, SecOps or Architecture world.
The advantage of some of the introduction exams that Microsoft produce are High Level on some of the topics. Mean you get a quick grasp on what or how to use something like Azure Data Factory.
Now it has been MONTHS, since I sat this exam, and haven’t seen or heard of some of the data tools in this course, but only recently have I started a new contract that I needed to know Azure Data Factory. Because I did the course and because the concepts where not new to me, I quickly picked up the requirement and was able to successfully deploy ADF with the foundation knowledge this course supplied.
You have to be ready to be ready, meaning, if you got the time to read or study a new topic, no harm because you might land a role that requires it..
      Ya just don’t know ! 😊

hi and thank you for the great video, im just a beginner and just passed my az-900 couple of weeks ago and kind of lost what to do next and how to find the appropriate job. mentioning that my passion is going toward the AI and machine learning so i can reach to the data scientist level, would you please suggest what can i do next

Hi and thanks for the compliment. Its difficult to suggest what to do next as to achieve AI level still requires basics in cloud. You should know how to code in Python, still know how to deploy resources and applications using pipelines. We still need the foundations.
Don’t let me knock your dream down, I am not saying you cannot achieve your dream of becoming a Data Scientist. What I am saying is, you have a lot to learn.
I would suggest doing the AI-900 course (learn.microsoft.com/en-us/credentials/certifications/azure-ai-fundamentals/?practice-assessment-type=certification#certification-take-the-exam) to give you exposure to AI so you satisfy your curiosity.
After that consider AZ 104 and AZ 400 and try to do as much labs as possible and be applying for roles. You want feed back on your cv and the skills you require, grow patience and thick skin and you can get there.
      Good luck!

Hi, I read, for AZ-104 "A candidate for this certification should have at least six months of hands-on experience administering Azure, along with a strong understanding of core Azure services, Azure workloads, security, and governance." but I am a beginner eventhoug I already got my AZ-900 Certificate but no hands on experience. Should I consider AZ-104 ?

Thanks for the question. The line ' A candidate for this certification should have at least six months of hands- ..............' basically is a caveat to avoid disappointment to the exam taker. What do I mean by this, simply that if you do not have any experience , take the exam ,failed and complain to Microsoft. Microsoft can say, we did suggest that you had the necessary experience. What I can tell you is, my students who don’t have any experience but studied aligned to the exam syllabus ; passed. If we allowed barriers to stop us from progressing we will never progress.
So my advice, study the free Microsoft training, get yourself a subscription on Whiz labs. Question which do not make sense or technology that you lack, seek to get in depth information. If you require hands on and not able to receive this from work. A subscription at Cloud Guru supplies labs with their top tier subscription.

Study for the exam and take it !
