I'm not the speaker on this documentary. It was given to me by another jazz dancer, Danny Buraczeski. I don't know who the narrator is. But I disagree on your Fosse comment. Yes, Gennaro had TV visibility, but Fosse was surely well known due to his many Broadway successes and his direction/choreography for the film of Sweet Charity.
My mom studied dance in the 50s as part of her kinesiology degree. Peter was her favorite jazz dancer. I only knew his name. Thanks for this. I can see why she admired his style.
