      @@AaronandClaire Yes, I was stationed at Osan for 10 years...I'm now retired. My wife is from Pyongteak...we met in a little country village behind the base. Thanks for your efforts in sharing your amazing culture...wonderful people!

    I was there at Osan AB in 85. Wow how it has changed while still the same. this video is a real treat. We always had yaki mandu after drinking in bars all night. :)Thanks

      Osan has changed A LOT since the 80's. Was there until early 90's.

    I was stationed there for 2 years 02-03 and 06-07. I miss that place. Best 2 assignments I ever had. I ate at some of those restaurants. Hopefully I’ll get to go back.

      Nick and Helmi I used to be overconfident when I eat spicy food but it makes me physically and mentally distressed especially in Korea lol. go with medium haha.

      Nick and Helmi There are so many kinds of food here so we can't choose the favorite one lol. But we love Korean Bbq and hangover soup so much 😍

    I had my korean ( Iftar ) yesterday at the Namu cafee here in Cairo .... and it's amazing to be fasting all the day and then having your Iftar with that delicious food .... it was an open pouffe contains :
    Cheese Tteokbokki... kimpap ...honey frie chicken
    ....steamed ric ...kimchi.....
    Polgogi and then Solomon's tea

    I miss Pyeongtaek Market. I'm sure that they've changed since the 80's, but I still remember hopping from food stall to food stall, eating an entire meal's worth. There was (or still is?) a Chinese restaurant on the second floor of a building that was right next to the Gate. They had really good jjajangmyun.
