I met Aldar from Chirgilchin when I went to Tuva back in 2010! Here are some pictures from that trip :-) www.flickr.com/photos/onesec/albums/72157624853765009
Fantastic! I have heard some dozens of Tuvan, Mongolian and Altai singers and Mongoun-Ool Ondar is one of the best tuvan singers in technics and resources, in my opinion. Other, is Igor Koshkendey, that is beside him in this video.
I don't know if he's from the family of Kongar-Ool Ondar. He's a fantastic singer with a great technique. But for me, the very best I've been able to hear on UA-cam is Igor Koshkendey. I give you a link about Igor Koshkendey, you'll enter my playlist about musics from Altai/Tuva/Mongolia. ua-cam.com/video/9Ei0HBjEU1M/v-deo.html Igor Koshkendey won the Grand Prix of the International Throat Singing Competition in 1998, 2000, and 2002.
@@ryking2, Igor is one of the best ones, of course. From the same Chirgilchin ensemble, at that time at least. In this presentation Igor is the musician next Kongar-Ool. I really don't know who is the best. Ayan, from Alash, is excellent, too.
Not Turkish brother... its Turkic, Turkish is just a part of that ethnic group, Tuvans are ethnically Turkic but by origin Mongolic, so its okay to call them Mongols.
excellent singer ty
Of course he is, no problem :)

Sorry, I haven't seen this comment before. Awesome pictures, my friend.
@@ryking2 No problem! Also missing lots of comments due to UA-cam's silly machine. Glad you enjoyed my friend!

The surname Ondar is like their clan name so not necessarily the same family but most likely distant relatives
