Did anyone else get super terrified when Vanitus just walked right in, guy is a flipping nightmare
When I played through this and got to this point, I just had a _feeling_ Vanitas would show up just to try and take Ventus's heart. I was like "Seriously? _THIS_ guy again? I thought you disappeared in Birth by Sleep! How can you even _be_ here?"
I just got pissed then excited too beat him up again :)

@@kevinkaslana9060 I always figured he'd reappear as Ventus woke up, since their hearts are connected. I was shocked that he was able to be 'reborn' without Ven. Who knows, maybe we haven't seen the last of him.
He is by far the most crazed character in KH games
They actually made one that was better than the BBS version, here I thought that one was perfection and they slapped me with this one when we fought in KH3. Look at the day I post this, to ths day I'm still shocked at this masterpiece.
perfect mix of "enter into darkness", "unbreakable chains", and whatever the vanitas lingering will song was called

Aqua: Ven!
_[Aqua notices that Ven's still asleep, but she apologizes for being away for far too long]_
Aqua: I'm sorry it took so long. Hey, come on, Ven. Wake up. Open your eyes, please!
_[Aqua remembers what happened when she brought him back to the tower]_
Aqua: Why? Your heart never found its way home?
Vanitas: That was a neat trick.
_[Sora notices a familiar voice behind him]_
Vanitas: No wonder no one could find him.
Sora: Vanitas!
_[Aqua takes notice of Vanitas' appearance as well and becomes serious]_
Aqua: Why are you here?
Vanitas: Aw, I don't mean to interrupt your little touching reunion, but surely you won't begrudge me a moment with my brother?
_[Sora summons his Keyblade and charges towards Vanitas, but he leaps over them and vanishing up on top of the chair that Ven sleeps on]_
Aqua: What?
Vanitas: So Venty-Wenty wants to keep sleep. What am I ever going to do with you?
Aqua: Shut up!
_[Vanitas and Aqua clash Keyblades, but Vanitas isn't struggling whereas Aqua seems to be having a problem]_
Vanitas: You better settle down there, "Master".
_[Aqua gets pushed back and land near the others]_
Sora: Aqua, I'll handle him.
Aqua: No. I'm ending this.
Sora: But, you haven't fully recovered yet!
Aqua: I'm sorry. I couldn't let you see me weakened like that. Now it's _my_ time to shine.
_[Aqua makes a barrier, keeping Sora, Ven and the others out of danger to finally confront Vanitas once and for all]_
_[Both of them get in their battle stances]_

The weirdest thing is, he was supposedly destroyed along with the χ-blade, so how he even showed up here is completely beyond me.
@@kevinkaslana9060 It's because the KH3 Vanitas is the time-travelling heart of BbS Vanitas placed within a replica by Young Xehanort, so do Ansem and Xemnas.
