The funny thing is, 10years later I met her, when I was walking down the city with my friend. When I explained who she was, friend sad: "Whaaat?! She's waaaay more gay than you!" Hahaha! My ex became heavy alcoholic and she came to my home last summer, uninvited and very wasted, to tell me she's getting married. She cried and told me she misses me. I couldn't even feel sorry for her. I felt disgusted by who she became and I couldn't wait for her to get out. Thanks to her I learned to read manipulative, toxic people very well, which helped me a lot, later in life.

Consent is also to respect someone’s actions that they have decided for themselves, this interrogation scene of making her feel bad about being with the guy is just so off and cruel. As if the one with a ponytail has any agency over the other one and her actions. Sad thing is how accepted this controlling behavior is, because hey, she has an interest therefor she gets to dig around in the other one’s decisions surrounding her sexuality and sexual actions. And fhe way she won’t even look at her in order to really punish her because she is showing she is no longer worthy of getting eye contact. So messed up, toxic behavior in that scene to max! Not ok! Sad to see it getting a pass. But good to have it written in because it needs more light on it this type of off behavior in order to get discussions going!

And also she couldn’t commit because there’s too many other outside expectations of what others might perceive (family) dynamics skewing her happiness and truly being able feeling love for Peyton . Even though she loves Peyton. Others say Luca is a jerk. But I don’t think Luca is. She always love Peyton, but the time was never right and she didn’t know what to do with her feelings with Peyton. So she had to choose what everybody else thought she should have choose. Peyton just needed to give her time. Peyton knows Luca is the one, she is just hurt because she can see it and Luca isnt aligned with her yet. Luca loves her so much that she don’t know what to do with her feelings or how to really open up to her. Luka definitely love spending time with PeytonAnd she doesn’t want to push Peyton away even though Peyton feels like she’s being pushed away. I feel the show send a good message to young teenagers and young adults trying to figure out their sexuality. It sounds a good positive message that it’s OK to not know what you want and you’re able to figure it out. And you have friends to be there for you even though they don’t always agree.
Many emotions for this one. Luca asking Peyton if she lost her was gut wrenching while watching Peyton struggle to get a thought out. The physical scenes were brilliantly shot! Just enough to satisfy and give feels without overdoing it or like most others under doing it. Loved the switch between past and present... Peyton leading in the past and then Luca leading in the present to show she had grown and really does want "this". I've watched twice but trust me,many more times are coming. 👏 👏👏👏

Oh my gosh, I have so much to say. Actually, I think I have so much to say that I can't think of anything to say at all. I just have so many feelings about this!! I wonder if the most passionate relationships always come with the most turbulence. I wonder if it's some inescapable truth, kind of like how a giant fire will burn up everything before long, and then be gone. GOD the scene where Luca said "I love you" completely ripped my heart out. Peyton's internal conflict was palpable. You can see it on her face at like 8:22. I wonder if anybody honest regrets getting their heart broken. I've been seriously fucked up by more than one person, but I wouldn't trade those experiences for anything. They helped me grow. They helped me to become the person I am today. They resulted in a lot of art and music that I'm happy to have made. And look, what do we have to thank for The Fortnight? :) THANK YOU for making this series. It just keeps getting better and better. I find so much to relate to. It hits me again and again in surprising ways that I don't normally see in other series. If I had a vision board I would put something on it about getting to make music for your series one day. I really think there is something about passion and turbulence going hand in hand. I also wouldn’t trade any of those experiences. I didn’t enjoy the pain and devastation I felt at the time, but it all contributed to the me that stands here today. It's so real and raw. The intensity of the looks between Peyton and Luca show the love never vanished between them or the want and desire for each other. I love how the communication is in their expressions and not only in the dialogue. I love the consent between the two of them, how they care enough about one another to make sure they are both comfortable and on the same page is just so perfect. That's love right there. A rollercoaster of emotions...my poor gay heart was in all kinds of different directions with this one..Thank you for this amazing episode and the series for that matter..i absolutely love everything about it and how it reminds me of a past love for me..like i said a roller coaster of emotions with this one whewww...These two have a beautiful chemistry that alot of times you just dont see on screen especially when it comes to the love scenes..but they have some extremely hott and beautiful chemistry that makes this all the more believable and makes me want to continue to watch hoping they are the endgame and don't end up like a lot of the lgbt relationships on screen do..which is someone always dies or they break up or they leave for a guy..it never fails..So i pray they are lucky in that they do end up together in the end..i hope so anyways bc they are so awesome together even if they have a rough past..i think we all deserve second chances sometimes..i also wanted to say I loved how y'all made the love scene where the first time they did Peyton was the one leading so to speak and the "top" and then u flash forward to the here and now..to where luca is now the lead and the "top" showing she's grown as a person and is now confident in that she knows how to please Peyton now issues..i thought it was awesome how you guys showed her personal growth in those scenes like that..it was really subtle but perfectly depicted to show both of their growth there since their first time together..Anyhow, thank you again for this amazing series I absolutely love it!! Maybe I'm "old" but I feel so sorry for Peyton. I understand the craving for emotions, for that indescribable passion, but I can't help but focus mostly on the absolute terrible communication that's going on in between them, both in the past and it the present, and think that it is a recipe for disaster. Luca is not saying anything. Anything at all. Her words might be very emotional - "you are my Peyton", "I just want this whit you" - but they do not communicate any of the real issues. What's on her mind? Why is/was this so hard for her? What exactly is she figuring out? Why can she put it in words and discuss it directly? What's her story? what's her plan? what is going on in her life? In both scenarios, past and present, she played Peyton with emotions so she didn't really have to explain anything. And even now, she totally dismisses the fact that "sex is a big deal" for Peyton. I'm not innocent to craving this overwhelmingly beautiful and at the same painful emotions... it's kind of a drug... but at the same time it's so sad. It is really, really sad.

It is the fact of playing with emotions to get away with not answering the questions but getting what she - Luca - wants. That's the sad part.
Isa P this is the exact reason Netflix’s show ”Sex Eduction” is so good! They actually get to the core of things, what made people the way they are, and they show the beautiful side and the ugly side and those in the middle, but they also allow the characters to actually communicate what is going on inside, and they listen and they forgive or they do healthy attempts of getting it right but still getting it wrong without landing in toxicity when they try to solve things. It’s not like here with this non verbal communication of just focusing on the actions but asking what drives the other character and showing hurt without emotional punishment. It really was so painful to have it be this thing of ”hold on you might like the end but until then we will drive this dysfunctional communication for the sake of getting good drama”...stay tuned. Youth need healthy communication to take after and get inspired by, a healthy narrative to express hurt and how to listen and how to be vulnersble without diving into ”you mistreated me therefor I will be cruel and it is justified and I will question your actions without taking in that you are insecure and not set in who you are and what you want”. This is such entitled and toxic writing and it’s sad to read the comments of praise when it’s bordering abusive. To punish someone and then hold them at arms length until they have jumped through enough hoops in order to show to the hurt one that they are worthy of not being punished anymore. I mean what even?!! In society we dn’t need more emotional immature characters that engage in ”I won’t look at you I am now going to punish you without communicating properly with you”. This writing is a mess! Teens/youth deserve better than this and other writing like this!

But, communication is also hard, especially for the young. These are two kids figuring it out and doing their best, not being purposefully manipulative. I urge you to place your frustrations somewhere better suited. Like a confidante in real life. Negativity is not meant to be shared in written form,it feels permanent there. Instead, say it out loud and work through it with a friend. Your words are falling to real people with good intentions, and that is very hurtful

The physical scenes were brilliantly shot! Just enough to satisfy and give feels without overdoing it or like most others under doing it. Loved the switch between past and present... Peyton leading in the past and then Luca leading in the present to show she had grown and really does want "this".

Oh my gosh, I have so much to say. Actually, I think I have so much to say that I can't think of anything to say at all. I just have so many feelings about this!! I wonder if the most passionate relationships always come with the most turbulence. I wonder if it's some inescapable truth, kind of like how a giant fire will burn up everything before long, and then be gone.
GOD the scene where Luca said "I love you" completely ripped my heart out. Peyton's internal conflict was palpable. You can see it on her face at like 8:22. I wonder if anybody honest regrets getting their heart broken. I've been seriously fucked up by more than one person, but I wouldn't trade those experiences for anything. They helped me grow. They helped me to become the person I am today. They resulted in a lot of art and music that I'm happy to have made. And look, what do we have to thank for The Fortnight? :)

I really think there is something about passion and turbulence going hand in hand. I also wouldn’t trade any of those experiences. Oh my gosh! I absolutely love this series. First off Alexandra is amazing at everything she does. Corey you are an incredible writer and producer. You made this story come to life. It's so real and raw. The intensity of the looks between Peyton and Luca show the love never vanished between them or the want and desire for each other. I love how the communication is in their expressions and not only in the dialogue. I love the consent between the two of them, how they care enough about one another to make sure they are both comfortable and on the same page is just so perfect. That's love right there. A rollercoaster of emotions...my poor gay heart was in all kinds of different directions with this one..Thank you for this amazing episode and the series for that matter..i absolutely love everything about it and how it reminds me of a past love for me..like i said a roller coaster of emotions with this one whewww...These two have a beautiful chemistry that alot of times you just dont see on screen especially when it comes to the love scenes..but they have some extremely hott and beautiful chemistry that makes this all the more believable and makes me want to continue to watch hoping they are the endgame and don't end up like a lot of the lgbt relationships on screen do..which is someone always dies or they break up or they leave for a guy..it never fails..So i pray they are lucky in that they do end up together in the end..i hope so anyways bc they are so awesome together even if they have a rough past..i think we all deserve second chances sometimes..i also wanted to say I loved how y'all made the love scene where the first time they did Peyton was the one leading so to speak and the "top" and then u flash forward to the here and now..to where luca is now the lead and the "top" showing she's grown as a person and is now confident in that she knows how to please Peyton now issues..i thought it was awesome how you guys showed her personal growth in those scenes like that..it was really subtle but perfectly depicted to show both of their growth there since their first time together..Anyhow, thank you again for this amazing series I absolutely love it!! Maybe I'm "old" but I feel so sorry for Peyton. I understand the craving for emotions, for that indescribable passion, but I can't help but focus mostly on the absolute terrible communication that's going on in between them, both in the past and it the present, and think that it is a recipe for disaster. Luca is not saying anything. Anything at all. Her words might be very emotional - "you are my Peyton", "I just want this whit you" - but they do not communicate any of the real issues. What's on her mind? Why is/was this so hard for her? What exactly is she figuring out? Why can she put it in words and discuss it directly? What's her story? what's her plan? what is going on in her life? In both scenarios, past and present, she played Peyton with emotions so she didn't really have to explain anything. And even now, she totally dismisses the fact that "sex is a big deal" for Peyton. I'm not innocent to craving this overwhelmingly beautiful and at the same painful emotions... it's kind of a drug... but at the same time it's so sad. It is really, really sad.

Isa P this is the exact reason Netflix’s show ”Sex Eduction” is so good! They actually get to the core of things, what made people the way they are, and they show the beautiful side and the ugly side and those in the middle, but they also allow the characters to actually communicate what is going on inside, and they listen and they forgive or they do healthy attempts of getting it right but still getting it wrong without landing in toxicity when they try to solve things. It’s not like here with this non verbal communication of just focusing on the actions but asking what drives the other character and showing hurt without emotional punishment. It really was so painful to have it be this thing of ”hold on you might like the end but until then we will drive this dysfunctional communication for the sake of getting good drama”...stay tuned. Youth need healthy communication to take after and get inspired by, a healthy narrative to express hurt and how to listen and how to be vulnersble without diving into ”you mistreated me therefor I will be cruel and it is justified and I will question your actions without taking in that you are insecure and not set in who you are and what you want”. This is such entitled and toxic writing and it’s sad to read the comments of praise when it’s bordering abusive. To punish someone and then hold them at arms length until they have jumped through enough hoops in order to show to the hurt one that they are worthy of not being punished anymore. I mean what even?!! In society we dn’t need more emotional immature characters that engage in ”I won’t look at you I am now going to punish you without communicating properly with you”. This writing is a mess! Teens/youth deserve better than this and other writing like this!
@@soilgrasswaterair ouch. I think you are seeing something that isn't quite there. Yes,they are not communicating to the standards of adults. But, communication is also hard, especially for the young. These are two kids figuring it out and doing their best, not being purposefully manipulative. I urge you to place your frustrations somewhere better suited. Like a confidante in real life. Negativity is not meant to be shared in written form,it feels permanent there. Instead, say it out loud and work through it with a friend. Your words are falling to real people with good intentions, and that is very hurtful
