I’m not an absolute beginner, but I learned the basic stitches in high school (about 1972!) and hadn’t really made anything in many years. Then COVID hit and I was looking to kill some time indoors since I am retired now. It seems like every time I watch a UA-cam tutorial, I learn something new! This one was no exception. I’m going to start making some wind spinners in red and green for Christmas decorations and I’m definitely going to follow these instructions. Looks like fun and for those of us who don’t have a lot of patience, a quick result! I have liked and subscribed and I wish you great success. Your instructions are clear and easy to follow.
Oh how wonderful, thank you so much for subscribing & liking means a lot. Yes crochet can be so much fun indeed. 😃👍 I am hoping to upload new content sometime this week, just a little busy with custom orders on my Insta & Etsy at moment. Hope to see back soon. Take care 😊
Ashley dee I have a tablet and a phone I thought when I like something it went on both so I looked for u on my tablet but couldn't find u so I thought why not look on my phone and there u were under my like videos woo!!! I want to make this so bad and I am so busy but I found u and wrote down everything I need to find 😮 thank you so much
I think these are so cute! And especially love the little heart ❤️ charm! Thank you for posting this. Thanks for sharing your time and talent with everyone. Have a blessed day!🌄
Aw that's lovely thank you so much for your feedback my love. Yh love the neat finish on reverse stitch, bit tricky at first but once you get going you're soon ok. ❤
I made a pattern similar to this, only it was to make a cat toy for my cat... i can make a fresh one for a spinning hanging hook i have for my window prisms...
@@ashleydeecrochet I have made so many as gifts for my friends and they all love it thank u again i wish i could show them to u but i don't now how to 😔
May I ask why you are using the crab stitch? I'm a beginner crocheter and I love learning from all the different UA-cam tutorials. Thank you so much for sharing your pattern 😊. This crab stitch edging really looks nice.
Hi thank you for you're lovely feedback. I just love the finish on the reverse single crochet aka Crab stitch. You can work a simple crochet on final row but then you're left with stitches showing on edge & the addition of a nice neat stitch really finishes it perfectly. I'm hoping to bring more easy quick tutorials to my channel so I hope you do stick around for those. Thanks again & happy crocheting my love. Lots of love Ashley 💓
Thank you for sharing. I will try. I have a question: after the chain why starting rom thé beginning and not doing the single crochet ? Does it change something ?
Hi, the reason for this is so all the stitches can face the right way when hung. If you'd rather carry on that's absolutely ok too, it just personal preference. Hope you enjoy my tutorials & as always thank you so much for your support. 💛🌻🐝
Hi, i think a hook or a branch to hang from if hanging outdoors & the wind would make your spinner spin. If you are hanging Spinner indoors something like command strips may be a suitable option. My daughter hangs hers from her curtain pole as a decoration piece. I hope my ideas have helped you my love. Thank you so much for watching & do stick around for more great easy Tutorials. ✌😊 PS few uploads due this week/early next week.
Half of these wind spinner directions the colors start at the same end each time, the others just chain one and go back for the next row. Any opinions?
I will be looking into starting writing up patterns soon my love. I'll edit description with a link when it's ready. Thank you for your interest & support. ☺

New subie . Great clear instructions!! Just learning so ideal project for me xx
Do you think it would be possible to do 6 colors and use a half dbl stitch all the way through, which would make the rows more narrow, would it not?
Hey, yes, you are able to change the pattern to your liking, my love 💓
The EASIEST one of these I have seen! Thank you SO much!
Oh that's wonderfully thank you so much for your feedback 😊

Is row 3 going into both loops when doing 3 double crochets x
Hi, apologise for late reply. 🫣 Yes, I go through both loops my love. 😊🥰❤️
How do you keep it in the spiral shape after it's hung?
Thank you for sharing. I will try. I have a question: after the chain why starting rom thé beginning and not doing the single crochet ? Does it change something ?

Can you tell me how you hang it? Do I need a swivel attachment to make it spin and where would I attach it?
Hi, i think a hook or a branch to hang from if hanging outdoors & the wind would make your spinner spin. If you are hanging Spinner indoors something like command strips may be a suitable option. My daughter hangs hers from her curtain pole as a decoration piece.

Will cotton yarn work ok
Yeah, don't see why not, my love ❤️
How so these hold you in the rain ?
You'd have to look into products that can add a waterproofing coating to them my love. Hope that helps. 🌺✌🙂💛
Half of these wind spinner directions the colors start at the same end each time, the others just chain one and go back for the next row. Any opinions?
What size of yarn are you using for the wind spinner?
It's DK yarn my love 💓
Do you plan to release a written pattern for this wind spinner and heart.
I will be looking into starting writing up patterns soon my love. I'll edit description with a link when it's ready. Thank you for your interest & support. ☺
Where is the link for the hearts thanks?

No my lovely 🩷🌻🐝
А как этот спиннер называется?
Hi, apologies I am not able to answer your question. Please send in English & I may be able to help you my love. ✌🙂💛
Hoop dat het helemaal god komt. Sterkte. Allemaal❤❤❤❤❤❤
