This reminds me of a dream I had several years ago, when I was a child, roughly seven years old. In that dream, I saw that I was climbing up on a beautiful, ornately decorated stairs and a very beautiful angelic kind of music was being heard. It was the same music which can be heard coming from the white light at the centre of our head, in meditation, which chakra it is exactly I am not sure. As I climbed up those stairs, I felt my body grow in size and become luminous. At the other end, I reached some sort of planet or Star, and though I was very close to it, but strangely enough, I couldn't feel any heat in it. It was totally white with a bluish tinge. Eventually, I entered The Star, and realized that I am that Star. There where various beings living inside that star, who had bodies of light. It's very strange, I don't know how to explain it, but I was that planet or star or whatever it was, and those beings were living 'inside' me. Eventually, I again came out of it, and started hovering over it as a huge formless awareness. A question arose in my mind, as to which star is this, and immediately an answer came, some voice inside me answered, "Sirius". That time I hadn't heard the name of this star, and did not know such a star existed. I also saw the Sirius B, together with Sirius A. When I woke up, I felt deep peace, and a strange, indescribably pleasant and expansive feeling, kind of finally returning back home. I don't know how to explain it, but it was totally wonderful, which is why I still remember it in detail after so many years. It wasn't like ordinary dreams, but very lifelike and conscious. The universe we have been taught to know is not the same as the universe that actually is. According to it, in an alternate dimension, our higher selves exist as a world, (a planet or a star) of its own, on which many beings live. Anton i doubt you have even read the book. The original Anthropologists that interacted with the Dogon copied down everything exactly how it was told. They knew nothing about astronomy and could not have influenced the Dogon in any way. They knew that Sirius B was very heavy but small at the same time. The 60 year orbit is near enough, information is sometimes changed over hundreds of years but Temple thinks it may have been deliberately altered to hide the real orbit from non initiates but to suggest the information was given to them from the West is completely incorrect and arrogant. I believe Temple read the original Anthropologists notes and they confirm the Dogon had this knowledge traceable up to 1000 years ago

What I am trying to figure out, is in which direction is Sirius going? Our Solar System is heading in the direction away from Sirius. I have studied that our Sun has been traveling away from Sirius, and our Solar System is in the same trajectory with the direction away from Sirius, toward Vega. Thousands of years ago as the Egyptians were closer to Sirius, they saw and built the pyramids as they were instructed by the system of Orion (orions belt). Sirius, the Dog star, the Egyptians had drawn their leader with a dog head. So as we are leaving the Sirius system, we are now heading closer to Alpha Centauri, but in the trajectory toward Vega. Sirius brought visitors to Earth years ago, but we are going in a direction away from them toward Vega.
If the "aliens" calender or length of what they call a year is exactly the same us we here now understand is exactly the same, then dogons could be celebrating in the wrong year according to modern calculations of Sirius orbital movement. But I doubt we share calenders or calculation methods....

The 60 instead of 50 Years could be because of a Time-dialation on the Planet itself because of its Gravity, what would also mean, that the Planet has to be pretty heavy. This is not 100 percent true. The Dogon tribe's description of the star system was proven to be true. They had knowledge of the system and how it functioned long before humans had the capability to see that far into space.
In the Norse religion it is believed that the star represented Odin but they arent really sure about that. But they do know that a viking trade city named Hedeby worshipped the star.

Its not so much a cultural belief so much as a belief of myself: For some reason I had a dream similar Abhishek Ghosh. However the music was more like I dont know how to describe it.. It sounded like if calming space style music mixed with Bossa Nova music. I also believe that Sirius does indeed have a third star but that star is only seen rarely and a sort of alignment where Sirius A is at the top Sirius C is in the middle and Sirius B is at the bottom. I understand why people want to believe the Dogon knew things about Sirius before present day scientists knew them. Heck, I am one of those people! I want this to be true! But after having studied this I have to admit that the so called evidence is very thin :( :( The first written records about these Dogon legends got written down AFTER western scientists found out Sirius was a double star system and the art people keep referring to can be interpreted as you like. It isn't showing a double Sirius star system, as much as I would really, really, really want it to be the case. It's depicting art. The best proof against this case is probably the amount of moons the Dogon claim Jupiter has. I believe they thought Jupiter has 4 moons, when in reality there are already 79 moons that we know of. But at the time when the Dogon legend was written down "the West" had already discovered 11 moons. The four moons the Dogon refer to are the 4 largest ones that were known for centuries. It wasn't until 1892 that a 5th moon was discovered. So yes, the fact that a jesuit could have spread the information about Sirius b and Jupiter's 4 moons somewhere around the turn of the 20th century is very plausible. I think the only thing that would prove the Doron theory to be correct is a discovery of a third Sirius star (brown dwarf) and I'm still hoping we'll find that star in the future. Untill that moment we have to remain skeptic people. As unpopular and unexciting as this might be.
Thank you for the video. I read the book from Robert G. Temple, The Sirius Mistery. The Dogon are transferring this knowledge from older to younger generations since a couple of millenniums at least, or at least since their migration to West brought them to Mali, like you mentioned in the beginning of the video. They hold a ceremony every 60 years (mistakenly or not) since almost 2000 years and that makes just no possible that any Christian missionary or European went there to tell them nothing, since before Galileo invented the telescope there were no notion of Saturn and knowing about a binary system 8.3 light years from Earth it was pretty advanced for us Westerners up to 100 years ago. In fact, the system was discovered (officially in the West) a little over 100 years ago if I’m right. Nonetheless, the Dogon and probably some other non-white populations knew almost everything about it since a couple millenniums or so (I don’t remember exactly if their ceremonies date back to 1200 years ago or more but it has been at least 1200 years since they got this knowledge, according to Temple). The errors in their astronomical knowledge is likely due to the fact they pass this knowledge orally from one generation to another, and even assuming they made contact with someone from another planet, surely they didn’t speak the same language and understanding each other might have come with a number of challenges… Us European were still in the Mesozoic back then, so I guess Christian missionaries have nothing to claim regarding the matter. This might be hard to digest for someone who doesn’t quite think outside the box, but Non-Westerners have traditionally been more advanced than the rest of us for a much longer time than us being only technologically more advanced today. Lastly, a number of ancient non-westerners civilizations have documented contacts with alien civilizations. Think about the Annunnaki in Mesopotamia, and the findings in prehistoric mines in South Africa. The reason the Dogon knew all of this stuff is because over centuries, they practiced initiation rites which made them clairvoyant, i.e. being able to see into the spiritual world and understand the spiritual laws (that we cannot measure) governing outcomes on the physical level (that we can measure). it is possible but the main thing needed is more research. like you mentioned we need more advanced technology to find if this 3rd star exists, but with the inconsistencies in sirius a and sirius b in their orbits it is likely that there is another large object in the fancinity of them. however i would be subject to wait and see as i am not sure about this 3rd star theory.

This reminds me of a dream I had several years ago, when I was a child, roughly seven years old. In that dream, I saw that I was climbing up on a beautiful, ornately decorated stairs and a very beautiful angelic kind of music was being heard. It was the same music which can be heard coming from the white light at the centre of our head, in meditation, which chakra it is exactly I am not sure. As I climbed up those stairs, I felt my body grow in size and become luminous. At the other end, I reached some sort of planet or Star, and though I was very close to it, but strangely enough, I couldn't feel any heat in it. It was totally white with a bluish tinge. Eventually, I entered The Star, and realized that I am that Star. There where various beings living inside that star, who had bodies of light. It's very strange, I don't know how to explain it, but I was that planet or star or whatever it was, and those beings were living 'inside' me. Eventually, I again came out of it, and started hovering over it as a huge formless awareness. A question arose in my mind, as to which star is this, and immediately an answer came, some voice inside me answered, "Sirius". That time I hadn't heard the name of this star, and did not know such a star existed. I also saw the Sirius B, together with Sirius A. When I woke up, I felt deep peace, and a strange, indescribably pleasant and expansive feeling, kind of finally returning back home. I don't know how to explain it, but it was totally wonderful, which is why I still remember it in detail after so many years. It wasn't like ordinary dreams, but very lifelike and conscious. Today your video reminded me of the same experience after so many years.

Anton i doubt you have even read the book. The original Anthropologists that interacted with the Dogon copied down everything exactly how it was told. They knew nothing about astronomy and could not have influenced the Dogon in any way. They knew that Sirius B was very heavy but small at the same time. The 60 year orbit is near enough, information is sometimes changed over hundreds of years but Temple thinks it may have been deliberately altered to hide the real orbit from non initiates but to suggest the information was given to them from the West is completely incorrect and arrogant. I believe Temple read the original Anthropologists notes and they confirm the Dogon had this knowledge traceable up to 1000 years ago

What I am trying to figure out, is in which direction is Sirius going? Our Solar System is heading in the direction away from Sirius. I have studied that our Sun has been traveling away from Sirius, and our Solar System is in the same trajectory with the direction away from Sirius, toward Vega. Thousands of years ago as the Egyptians were closer to Sirius, they saw and built the pyramids as they were instructed by the system of Orion (orions belt). Sirius, the Dog star, the Egyptians had drawn their leader with a dog head. So as we are leaving the Sirius system, we are now heading closer to Alpha Centauri, but in the trajectory toward Vega. Sirius brought visitors to Earth years ago, but we are going in a direction away from them toward Vega.

This is not 100 percent true. The Dogon tribe's description of the star system was proven to be true. They had knowledge of the system and how it functioned long before humans had the capability to see that far into space.

Its not so much a cultural belief so much as a belief of myself: For some reason I had a dream similar Abhishek Ghosh. However the music was more like I dont know how to describe it.. It sounded like if calming space style music mixed with Bossa Nova music. I also believe that Sirius does indeed have a third star but that star is only seen rarely and a sort of alignment where Sirius A is at the top Sirius C is in the middle and Sirius B is at the bottom. Also I look at where Sirius should be but I never actually see Sirius.. I am not surprised the Dogon don't know exactly where the system is. It sort of feels like a calling of some sort. Goes back to the Egyptians prolly who were into astronomy Siris for the name sake of Osiris the god. Not to far fetched that the Egyptians made calculation on it and word traveled (much more so then word traveled from light years away). I understand why people want to believe the Dogon knew things about Sirius before present day scientists knew them. Heck, I am one of those people! I want this to be true! But after having studied this I have to admit that the so called evidence is very thin :( :( The first written records about these Dogon legends got written down AFTER western scientists found out Sirius was a double star system and the art people keep referring to can be interpreted as you like. It isn't showing a double Sirius star system, as much as I would really, really, really want it to be the case. It's depicting art. The best proof against this case is probably the amount of moons the Dogon claim Jupiter has. I believe they thought Jupiter has 4 moons, when in reality there are already 79 moons that we know of. But at the time when the Dogon legend was written down "the West" had already discovered 11 moons. The four moons the Dogon refer to are the 4 largest ones that were known for centuries. It wasn't until 1892 that a 5th moon was discovered. So yes, the fact that a jesuit could have spread the information about Sirius b and Jupiter's 4 moons somewhere around the turn of the 20th century is very plausible. I think the only thing that would prove the Doron theory to be correct is a discovery of a third Sirius star (brown dwarf) and I'm still hoping we'll find that star in the future. Untill that moment we have to remain skeptic people. As unpopular and unexciting as this might be.

Thank you for the video. I read the book from Robert G. Temple, The Sirius Mistery. The Dogon are transferring this knowledge from older to younger generations since a couple of millenniums at least, or at least since their migration to West brought them to Mali, like you mentioned in the beginning of the video. They hold a ceremony every 60 years (mistakenly or not) since almost 2000 years and that makes just no possible that any Christian missionary or European went there to tell them nothing, since before Galileo invented the telescope there were no notion of Saturn and knowing about a binary system 8.3 light years from Earth it was pretty advanced for us Westerners up to 100 years ago. In fact, the system was discovered (officially in the West) a little over 100 years ago if I’m right. Nonetheless, the Dogon and probably some other non-white populations knew almost everything about it since a couple millenniums or so (I don’t remember exactly if their ceremonies date back to 1200 years ago or more but it has been at least 1200 years since they got this knowledge, according to Temple). The errors in their astronomical knowledge is likely due to the fact they pass this knowledge orally from one generation to another, and even assuming they made contact with someone from another planet, surely they didn’t speak the same language and understanding each other might have come with a number of challenges…
Us European were still in the Mesozoic back then, so I guess Christian missionaries have nothing to claim regarding the matter.
This might be hard to digest for someone who doesn’t quite think outside the box, but Non-Westerners have traditionally been more advanced than the rest of us for a much longer time than us being only technologically more advanced today.
Lastly, a number of ancient non-westerners civilizations have documented contacts with alien civilizations. Think about the Annunnaki in Mesopotamia, and the findings in prehistoric mines in South Africa. It is also likely that the far superior astronomical knowledge of ancient Egypt was the result of alien exchanges.

The reason the Dogon knew all of this stuff is because over centuries, they practiced initiation rites which made them clairvoyant, i.e. being able to see into the spiritual world and understand the spiritual laws (that we cannot measure) governing outcomes on the physical level (that we can measure). it is possible but the main thing needed is more research. like you mentioned we need more advanced technology to find if this 3rd star exists, but with the inconsistencies in sirius a and sirius b in their orbits it is likely that there is another large object in the fancinity of them. however i would be subject to wait and see as i am not sure about this 3rd star theory.

That's why we're most likely from somewhere else. Just as the Dogons are from sirius, we're from somewhere else. It seems these lifeforms hop from one planet to the other. They won't allow you to know that they were correct. 50 years instead of 60 and that they have artefacts dating 400years older than the arrival of the europeans. And that they confirmed the third sun in the system.
