I've been giving the European MOD collection a hard time the past few weeks about having weak offerings. It seems that took that personally as they whipped out at least one humdinger this week that I would've loved to have purchased! The other shops weren't half bad either!

That Vintage smooth DC LP is gorgeous
I really liked the green Les Paul custom at the beginning and I think the blueberry burst was another favorite. There were some other nice one's tonight, too!
All the unique and creative Mod and Demo shop stuff is kind of my favorite.
The Honeynut gloss LP is purty , love the woodgrain , the Vintage Smooth double-cut Special LP has an Alembic vibe , The Mystic Forest Sparkle is COOL , the Voodoo ES-335 is cursed & cool , LOVE that Advanced Jumbo Acoustic !.., the Oxblood LP 50s is Tasty , and lastly the 50s Hand Select Tobacco LP is beauty-full ....Oh baby did I ever have a guitard overload today ! ...I went to see a large guitar/amp/effects collection and came home with some good -good-GOODYS !!....ThanX Trogly !!

Interesting about that 345's refret. The 50's Unburst LP with hand select top and Custombucker III's I picked up from the Demo Shop also came without nibs, even though no refret was mentioned. All good as I prefer the fret all the way across the board anyway.
It's interesting to think about acoustic instruments that had 24 frets. In early December 1997, I was at my customary retailer for a guitar lesson. The retailer had just gotten some Guild instruments in his shop, and one of them was a single cut that did happen to have 24 frets.

That one that you stated had lacquer chip out was actually routed incorrectly during inlay installation.
Yeah, that should have had a new holly overlay put on and redone. To let that one out the door even as a 2nd should never happen.
Love that green sunburst semi-widow Les Paul. Be good to see more of that stylish work from Gibson although - sigh - I know if I had the money I'd just go for a classic R9 burst lol.
Usually not a fan of DC Les Paul’s, but that one was very cool. I’d rock that in a heartbeat.

I'm working a M2M that's going to be a cross between a Green Widow Burst and that Blue Frost Lace LP Custom that was in the Mod Shop a couple weeks ago.
Been watching you for several years and this is maybe the third time I've commented, that green Les Paul is amazing!
Years ago I saw a similar custom finish on a Custom, but not quite as dark overall
While I am not generally a fan of green guitars it was striking and if I could have afforded it at that time, I may very well have bought it

I love how whatever Gibson does, the response is always “more, more… why not this, why not that”. It’s never enough.
Having a hard time choosing between the palm fan green Les Paul , the red and black 50's custom and the foam green ES 335. But I'm still having a crush on the spraklng orange X-plorer from the previous vid 😉
That Honeynut Gloss makes me think there ought to be a clear-finish carved mahogany top in their regular lineup. Why limit the carved mahogany top to ‘57 reissues?

a really good week for The Mod Collection.
I think i have a tie ( yes i said it) that looks like the Twilight. The palm would look more like the sun shining if it were a blue with similar lines. Im kinda liking the honey nut cheerios and the cereal isnt half bad either. I really like the poker chip red satin especially with the extra long stinger on back.

That Scarlett Pearline is as close as I am ever going to get to a Custom Shop guitar. I'll move on something like that soon.

10:58 those aren't necessarily cracks, that looks to me that they didnt fill around the logo inlay, those circles look like the diameter of the CNC cutting head they use, maybe not enough layers of clearcoat?

I’m wondering if that carbon fiber has a texture to it, so they avoided putting it on the back of the neck.
Scarlett Pearline looks like a College Football uniform (not too familiar with which team has a stripe), and the white headstock is the helmet!

the mod demo shop is repainted used guitars. thats just a fact. i dont have a problem with demo used guitars. repaints i do and they raise the price on repaints

I dunno why, but every time I go to check out the mod collection, I only see 4 guitars. Been consistently happening for 4 weeks. Really annoying.

I love carbon fiber. I strongly dislike the faux carbon fiber though. It looks horrible.
That LP looks even worse than a lot of the faux carbon I see in cars (for example).
But hey, to each their own.
Gibson cares more about Europe and America, and give the last remains to Canada. We love Gibson, but they don't seem to love us.
Sorry, the green Les Paul one looks like it's been sitting in a pond and has algae all over it.

Gibson has been trying to get back at IYV and their emerald green LP, every since it became the biggest hit in the under $200 dollar budget LP guitar market,two or three years ago, these guitars were considered an embarrassment, but they slowly caught on, because they were so good and played so well,the color also became popular,and every guitar maker out there including Gibson started making more green guitars, 🤢 Gibsons nod to IYV with this palm🏝️ green custom LP,shows who's still the boss,sorry Gibson I'll stick with my emerald green flame maple IYV LP 💯% 💵 🤣👍

Gibson really has no clue. Putred paint jobs and then asking ridiculous prices. Give me a break! There quality control sucks. Guitars from China have better quality control. The only real stinger with Gibson are the prices. 😂😂😂😂
