Ive blasphemed the Holy Spirit and rebelled and went too the other side and all of that after speaking in toungues and knowing the truth , and advice? Or am i at a lost cause at this point
Have faith brother, Christs mercy is infinite. There is probably almost no one who has done the unforgivable, we are all like the prodigal son who left after knowing his father, and we will be welcomed home just the same if we repent
You and I are in the same boat, but turning back to Christ is the only option, I don’t think if we are good and faithful, and see the day of judgment that we would be unjustly judged. Whatever the sentence we deserve it, but also know just as Jesus told the parable of the rich being akin to fitting a camel through the eye of a needle, know that we too, need that same, impossible grace that can allow that to happen.
Don’t be discouraged, that is from the devil.
The Holy Spirit was sent as the Comforter for a reason. To help us get back up. Not to stay down. May God bless you brother.
Hi! Listen to the explanation around 15 min into video. I think the answer is there for you. If we at all wonder whether we have comitted this sin, it goes to show that our heart is not hardened and we can still hear Holy Spirit, who is the one who draws us to God. The unforgivable sin I believe is when we say no to the One who can help us and therefore call Him bad when He in fact is the Good One. Like deliberately distorting Truth.
Sounds a bit similar to my story. How do you know you have committed blasphemy against the holy Spirit?
There are those who find no place of repentance after they have turned from that heavenly gift and good Word of God Heb. 6. I believe this is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. The idea of crucifying the Son of God afresh is an unthinkable idea and thus repentance is withheld. However, God was not created for our salvation, He was not created. We were created for His pleasure and companionship. Even the rich man didn't figure life out after waking up in hell. He still wanted comfort and then when none could be found, he sought it for his family. He never arrived at the conclusion that others could be converted for God's pleasure and purpose. If you find the gift of repentance, you'll know that your betrayal wasn't final. Seek and serve Him if you find grace for He is worthy.
