End up listening to the podcast while riding motor to work... I use to listen songs while going to work now it's nice to listen while going to work... Caller stories doesn't attract much but you guys doing it...

I believe they talked about the beauty of urumi and trance. Similar situation happened to one of my friend and I've witnessed it myself. The urumi people tried their very best to make my friend feel the trance which means he's ready to take in the pain. But my friend couldn't understand tamil so much so he just pretended. I relate to this so much, but yah people has sentiments. So its okayyy guys, things will get better when you're consistent 💯💛

So many things were spoken out of context and made fun of purely for the sake of adding entertainment value to this podcast. Not saying it is wrong by any means, but when you cannot differentiate between joking casually, addressing facts, respecting beliefs and being plain offensive then you've lost your plot.
The caller might have been a mutual friend for all I know, so she might not have taken offence at the number of times you guys were interrupting with your ill-timed jokes and remarks, but this could easily tick off any other person who is looking forward to sharing a genuine experience. I suppose quoting Stephen R. Covey would be appropriate here; "Most people do not listen with the intent to understand; they listen with the intent to reply."
Yes, not all trances are genuine and can feel pretty sus, but that is not the core of the belief to start with. There are scammers all around, in about any aspect of life, let it be in religious practices or day-to-day transactions. A white-collar conman doesn't make you lose your hope on the financial institution, does it now? Similarly, mocking the whole tantric branch of Sanatana Dharma just because of those who misuse it for their personal benefits is not the right thing to do.
Love the vibe you guys have going here, and I can really see this podcast being a medium that brings people from diverse backgrounds onto one platform, but I do feel this episode might have been a little too offensive for those who put their heart and mind into these practices purely for the wellbeing of others.
As an end note, I would love to collaborate with you guys if y'all need further input on how trance works and how practitioners bring this down from one generation to another generation. Thank you and all the best boys!

Puvanan, good hosting, but try to control the situation when the story gets interesting.
Overall, please continue with ghost story only, because when it comes to god/trance/deity, it will trigger unnecessary issues.
We knew that this topic is abit more sensitive. That’s why Jiven addresses about it at the end of it to make sure there isn’t misunderstanding but we didn’t want to censor ourselves. We are always working on the nuances of the conversations regarding these things. Of course, we are learning it as we go and we will always do better the next time. I do acknowledge Jiven's effort to put things into perspective at the end but that wouldn't automatically undo the jokes that were made earlier in the conversation.

I think its time to experiment and try again Krish. Or Puvanan or Jeevan even. I too have reservations about people getting trance. Someone once told me that trance is where not God /Deities entering one person but their messengers or a drop of their power entering people. Not sure how true it is. My own, close family members do this and knowing them well, I suspect the intentions of people who claims to get trance.
