I’ve been watching Talon Sei’s development videos of this tent, and this seems like a far more practical solution than the high country which came equipped on my new Offroad trailer from Forest River.
I picked mine up a couple days ago. I got it installed at their main warehouse. This tent is amazing, couldn't be happier. If you are in the Denver area I highly recommend checking out their warehouse, they are super helpful. Great company and products.
These guys are great! Best customer service I've ever experienced. I picked up the Odyssey tent at the Golden, CO HQ and they installed it on my vehicle and ran me through it's features. I upgraded to their aircore mattress but once home realized it had a leak so they immediately shipped me a replacement mattress. Amazing!
Just ordered the SEI edition a few days ago during the early Black Friday discount AND with TalonSei’s coupon code. The discounted total price was a HUGE deal for me. That’s probably the only way I’d ever be able to afford a rooftop tent. So glad I snagged one. I can’t wait to try it out on my 2021 F-150 SuperCab! Much love from Texas!
I wish the hardshell aspen came in the same length as this since i want to install it over a 6ft bed and be lower that the roof line. Still considering this Lite, its sitting in my cart lol
Did I miss something, or are there no mesh screens on the windows? I have the high country 55 which I love, but I'm looking to switch to a clamshell like this. It's perfect, except I can't believe there's no screens on the windows. I will often nap in the tent during the day, but have the windows and door unzipped to the screens to allow airflow on warm days. There's no way I'm leaving windows open without a bug netting. Please tell me I'm wrong.
You won't be able to mount either the 270 or 180 Awning directly to the tent channels on Aspen Lite. Depending on what rack you have, you can mount either awning to that as long as you have the right brackets for your rack.
@@gofsr I have the Sherpa rack any suggestions of brackets to make a FSR awning 270 or 180 work? Would love to have an aspen lite LX and FSR awning setup.
@@gofsr Awesome! I wanted the features of this tent but the strength of the Aspen to put stuff on top of it. I'll be looking forward to the Aspen V2 then. Any estimate on when it might come out?
With the cover you completely eliminate the appeal of most modern tents. Don’t build too many because this product will not sell. The whole close and forget of a hard shell is not outdone by a few pounds weight savings
@@Midnight_Yoda they said they are testing cross bars for the aspen lite and should be out sometime next year. My aspen lite is coming in January and will do a review on it.

I just received my Aspen lite yesterday! This thing is amazing, can’t wait to use it this 4th of July weekend!!!! Thanks FSR!

I missed out on that price 😩 Lucky you!!
Mine shipped today, should be home next Tuesday!🎉

Mentions a bug mesh at 07:50 for the large entrance.
We wish we could get one of these into Australia. The tent looks really nice on the Jeep.
Wonder if those tracks on the front could at least handle a couple of small pod lights or light bar.
I’m wondering if this could be mounted on my 2023 Nissan Rock Creek edition Pathfinder 4x4 with the rack that came on it standard?
Love it! Nice work FSR 👏
I know you mentioned we will not be able to attach any additional gears etc. how about a FSR 270 or a 180 awning?

I'm planning on trading my Highcountry for the light. Probably will go through this last summer with it then go for the upgrade
Do you have European partners for sale or plans for development in the region?
Does this fit Go Rhino SR500 roof rack?
Will this tent be offered in different sizes? Such as the Aspen?
Is there room to store the ladder inside the tent?
would love to see a 3 person to 4 person tent like this, weight isn't an issue for my 3300 payload. I'd be happy with a 80' width.
What type of rig do you have?!
any other color beside black for us people in the so , Florida , keep up great designs
Will these upgrades be coming to the regular Aspen? Like the heater port, dimmable LED, and mattress.
Yes, Aspen V2 will have all that and more!

@@gofsrAspen v2? Is this why the Aspen 55" is no longer available on your website?
I think can still put solar panels flexiable on top they don’t weigh much
Planning on doing that soon, will use strong Velcro and industrial strength glue
Mine just came in a few days ago, I’ve been wanting to see how other people will put on their solar panels on
Does the LCD light battery come with the tent?
The light does, however it doesn't sound like the battery does
Can the side slots hold an awning?
Aspen Lite can't hold the awning directly to the tent.
@@gofsrdo you have a video on how to inflate and deflate without a pump? Took it camping this weekend and could not figure it out. Thanks.

I think a lot of people will disagree with you on that ha. They’re selling them like crazy! I ordered one a few days ago.

For $1800 on Black Friday it appealed to me just fine
