Hi Darlene and sweet family! My grandmother had dementia and it’s a terrible disease that is devastating. I’m hoping Claudine’s surgery goes well and she heals quickly. Gary’s visit is a welcome helpful one. I do enjoy his visits. Beautiful poem Darlene. I will keep the whole family in my thoughts and prayers. Have a blessed day everyone ❤️🤗🙏
Good morning, My heart goes out to you and your family. Bless your brother, and I am so happy to hear that he will be there for 2 months. Darlene you are a beautiful person with a wonderful heart. I can’t imagine what you are all going through. Thank you for sharing. I love your poem.🙏❤️ Sending lots and lots of prayers your way to you and your beautiful family.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
You are such a splendid and brave woman, Darlene! I love your poem - very well-written and beautiful. Sorry to hear about Bill having dementia, but will be praying for your entire family. God bless!

Darlene, Your poem is beautiful. I think you are incredibly positive. Oh, I'm sorry to hear that Bill has dementia. I'm just so sorry. I am so in hopes that 2025 will be kinder to your family, and Claudine 's surgery will be successful.
Darlene, you have some challenges ahead. Hoping everything comes out okay. I particularly hope that Claudine's surgery goes according to plan and that she makes a complete recovery. I have a brother who was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia earlier this year. It will be his 70 birthday this Thursday 14th.
Thank you, Darlene. I really appreciate it. Dave is looking at MUSIC to push himself ... well, ... you know. I love him so much and I am SO HAPPY that he is doing this his way. And, like you, he is trying to stay positive. And, he thinks of others, not just himself. Dave has struggled with LOTS of these issues, for quite a while, but amazingly, Dave is pushing through all his changes. I have a bit of experience with other loved ones, too. The insulin is a serious situation and the main concern for ALL is that everyone is safe and as comfortable as possible. Your experience is sounding so familiar. Thankfully, at the moment, physically, Dave is hanging in there. He does not have to say anything, I can see him struggle to stand up, to pull up his pants, to tug on a shirt, to walk from one room to the next. THEN, you will see him in a video ... dancing, singing, ... only the way that he can. I LOVE his voice and dancing! YOUR family is amazing and doing your very best. This will ALL work out, and in the way it's meant to work out. Please keep going with the flow and I know that you will. Ride the waves. Enjoy LIFE and your GLEE is very very apparent. Have a great day!
Thankyou I think it's harder to watch someone we love go through their struggles than to go through them ourselves. As a wife it pains me to watch Bill lose his dignity more than dealing with my own issues, in simple terms that is love.
Yes, that is love. You and the family will take great care of Bill with all the choices available to you. Those choices are based on his body and mind. Not because of you. It is challenging! A loved one who went HOME several years ago once told someone, "she won't let me out of bed" (dementia talking, not herself). It was her failing BODY not allowing her out of bed. ;) Not pleasant for our person nor for family. Staying positive, even gleeful like yourself, will help. Resting and getting support when or before it's needed...may also help. You are not alone.
