Pledge & donatED are VERY diff words & different tenses as well! Don't let her get to you! She purposefully LIED to the world about it all bc she thinks she's a GOOD liar who won't get caught. She was caught trying to blackmail Johnny into continuing to bankroll & foot the bill for her lifestyle & to add insult to injury she wanted him to continue to bankroll & foot the bill for ALL her friends & fam indefinitely or for the rest of their lives! & She didn't stop there! She kept on demanding more & more. But he called her bluff on that & she had to settle for a measly 7mil & everyone saw her for what she was, a lying fraud, conniving, greedy, money grubbing, whore! Well, she couldn't have that so, she kept up the I don't want anything from him! Just to be away from him & safe. But Amber what about that pesky 7mil? Ohh that I'm donating EVERY penny to blah blah. Then she tried to lie AGAIN about why Johnny couldn't just donate it in her name! It had to go STRAIGHT to HER! & Lie AGAIN about why she couldn't donate it all at once. Then went straight to saying it's DONE! I donatED it ALL! Look at selfless heroic me! Bc she thought nobody would check? Or there'd be no way to PROVE it. She also assumed she had rich billionaire Elon Musk in her pocket & thought he'd fix it & lie for her! She's never (that I recall which admittably could be wrong bc I've NEVER liked her nor followed her closely) used the word pledge b4 & definitely never used it in concert w\donated until she was caught on the stand & under oath. Even giving her the benefit of doubt & assuming she wasn't maliciously lying to try & keep the $ herself, she STILL is guilty of purposely misleading ppl by saying DONATED instead of saying "I pledged & to date have donated\paid $X amt" which would have been truthful. It doesn’t sit right with me that she was so offended by that. First of all it’s insulting to people who are truly victims and struggle every day to accept it’s not their fault. Second of all she wrote the words herself “I became the face of domestic violence” sounds like she was very eager to be seen as a victim from that.
I will say when I saw her snap at the suggestion I thought “ah that’s the real person on the stand” not in a judgmental way it was just the first reaction that didn’t feel like she was acting. That definitely got under her skin and honestly I really feel bad for both of them but… being ill or having a history of abuse in childhood or a disorder isn’t a free pass not to take responsibility as an adult. I don’t think she’s a sociopath I think she knows right from wrong but feels like manipulating is the only way she can survive. They also don't say "I NEVER considered myself a victim." They acknowledge "I was a victim, but now I'm fighting back as a survivor" or something along those lines. As a certified wound nurse, part of my job is to evaluate the etiology of a wound, in order to provide proper care for a wound to heal. The photo of Johnny Depp's injured finger that was shown in the trial tells the whole story and refutes Heard's testimony regarding Australia.
This injury was not caused by any cutting surface at all. The wound was created from the impact of the bottle against the end of his finger, causing his finger to literally explode from the energy of the impact. His finger was also severely fractured almost mid point through the distal (phalange) bone of that middle finger. That fracture is further down his finger than the actual wound, again suggesting blunt force trauma to the finger, NOT a cutting injury. Depp's wound is not symmetrical which would be expected if he had cut off his finger with a knife as Heard's team was suggesting.
I am curious on whether they will go more in depth with this in closing arguments. It seems like a huge missed opportunity if they don't explain the injury to the jury to show that there is no evidence whatsoever that he "cut off his finger"

Amber said something that my abuser used to say to me. “I didn’t want to hurt him, but he made me do it.” Classic line from an abuser. He would always say “I didn’t want to punch you in the stomach and make you miscarry, but you made me mad so, I had to teach you a lesson.” “I didn’t want to give you that black eye and 3 bruised ribs by repeatedly kicking you, but you accidentally broke a glass while doing dishes and I had to teach you a lesson.” Not once since this case started has Amber given me, a survivor of DV and IPV, any kind of indication that she was abused by Johnny in any way. I don’t think Johnny’s a saint, but I also don’t think he was abusive to Amber.

All I’m going to say is this. The only thing a habitual liar hates more than being called a liar is to be caught in a lie. The moment they can feel the walls closing their automatic response is to get angry and almost demand that you believe them. She already began getting angry before cross because she knew she wouldn’t be able to handle this in the way she normally does. The moment cross began for Deps side you could physically see her getting pissed off. You could see the pure rage in her eyes that Johnny spoke of. Its honestly insane how she’s an actress but if you know what to look for you can read through her bullshit like an open book.

So true! That's exactly how she responds in the recordings. As long as he seems to be believing her, playcating her, falling for her BS, she's calm. As soon as he calls her out on that BS, she loses it! It's strange how she doesn't mind being playcated, given fake apologies, etc. As long as you agree with her, she doesn't care if it's sincere.

It's very much about control. When she can control the narrative she is able to keep her emotions in check. As soon as the control is taken away, she gets flustered, angry and combative to regain control. Similar to how a child will throw a tantrum if you take away their toy. It very much follows Dr Curry's analysis.

I jumped for joy when Camille made AH reveal herself. "So you were not afraid, then?" would have been enough to make mashed potato take notice. Amber's "why would I be afraid?" type reaction was proper nail in her own coffin-stuff. I couldn't have gotten past that if I were a juror, because it would make me reevaluate everything she had said on the stand up to that point: She claims that JD gave her PTSD, and yet she asks why she would be afraid of him?! No wonder her "traumatized and crying victim" act wasn't convincing.
I have said all along that listening to the tapes, I hear an abuser talking to her victim, not a victim talking to her very violent and volatile abuser. There's NOOO way I would have relentlessly belittled, berated, criticized, talked down to and laughed at my volatile narcissist the way she did. My narcissist was easy to deal with compared to AH, and I never had to wonder why I was afraid to do anything to taunt him.
Edit: When your teeth goes halfway through your lip, you need stitches, and your lip swells so badly, no amount of makeup can hide that. Where's THAT photo? And if he punched her so hard in the nose that she thought it was broken, her eyes and her nose would be so swollen, no ice will make it go down over night. That's not something we think. That's something that ALL victims of serious domestic abuse knows from experience.

My mother was an abusive person with BPD. The way she would twist her retelling of events was horrific. One example: I once walked into her house to be met with her pointing a gun at me. She was screaming that I didn’t share anything about my life with her anymore and I didn’t love her etc etc. I didn’t know if I was about to die or not but I tried to placate her and calm her. I started telling her any small detail she may not have known about the last few weeks just to prove that I was sharing with her and to get her to put the gun down. She eventually did. I drove away that afternoon and had to pull over because I was shaking too much. Later she told people that I had come over and she was about to kill herself and I told her “well my life is going great” and I left her in a suicidal state. That’s how they will twist things to suit their narrative. It’s sick. Listening to Amber is so familiar to me and while I think Johnny Depp was verbally abusive and no angel, I hope Amber is exposed for the obvious lies she tells.

Narcissists cannot admit to faults or flaws. The threat to their ego is something they can not back down from. They must pathologically defend themselves against it. That's why Camille asks things the way she does. The initial questions are elusive to not seem like a threat. And then she hones in on exact statements, targeting the ego to get the response desired. They knew she'd struggle to answer directly, and were ready with backup questions. They are rapidfire and daggerlike after the initial question. It's so nice seeing them use this tactic.
