Plenty of examples of low IQ here in the states. Most reasons involve the education system and politics. Especially a couple of years ago with all those people not using Gorilla glue correctly.
Ranking in Eu is absolute nightmare ! All players play solo, just camping in back and do nothing. Most of them just are waiting until their team die, farm at the end do 1 kill and get point. They just abuse the point system. In fact some of the top Ranking player aren't as skill as u think, they just understand the system point better than other.
I think the ranking should be revised and made so its not so punishing for players who do take initiative for playing instead of players camping and getting highest dmg so they get top score, even in defeat. It creates weird games and weird outcomes.
I tend to find my best bet is to switch tiers. If you are getting bad teams, move around and you will find the good ones eventually. Recently I had horrid tier 10 teams but stupidly enough found all the skilled players down at tier 5 for whatever reason.

If it splits you can't even compete against the good players 💀 everyone wants noobs out of their game until they go up against pros every game and you end up being the dead weight

earlier this day, I had a team and my 60TP, IS 7 and E100 died to a single type 71 while I did 6000 damage in RATING BATTLES! world of tanks blitz really need to fix this matchmaking.
About a week ago, i played a match in factory. It is really funny that nobody in enemy team left theirs spawn place. Sometimes this kind of teams kills interest for the game.
Win percentages aren't always accurate. For you, Droodles, they are, as you play EVERYTHING. But I can guarantee you, there are some seal clubbers out there playing stuff like the Anni, or tier 6, that have 60% WR. Doesn't mean they're good, just means they prey on newer players
The thing is that "40%" number attached to some players is not reflective of their actual skill. I have been playing since I was 9 years old and was awful. My win rate was 42%. However, I played many - MANY - games. So my win rate right now is technically 49.57% but if you don't account for the games I played years ago, I have a win rate closer to 66%. It sucks that there is no "recent rating" system which could actually reflect that.
Dude I totally understand I started playing around 8-9 years old and my win rate suffered, then I came back to the game and have been bumping my win rate up since, but because of playing back then my rate is pretty much forever going to be below 55% or at least I hope it isn't
I am an 8 year player, started young and didn't understand the game, quit for a few years etc so my win rate is 52%. I get diamond easily since I go 65% over the last half year so just looking at w% is not always truthful
What you’re experiencing now is what other players started experiencing years ago. You just were able to avoid it due to your exceptional skill level. Now that the game is so overly saturated with low skilled players, everyone is being affected by them, even including you. T10 is not a skilled tier. Anyone can reach it. Lower skilled players in higher ratings games is a surprise though. They must be using a bell curve distribution to allocate players to higher ratings, rather than actually choosing them by skill, otherwise there wouldn’t be enough players at the higher ratings, due to there being so many low skilled players.
Yesterday I was playing the tier 8 and 9 American lights, for missions, and doing around 3k and 4 kills on average plus spotting like a champ... Lost EVERY SINGLE battle because my teams, despite having number and hp advantage EVERY TIME, could NOT pull off a win. I just said F That and quit for the night. I do not like playing lights as it is so I was not going to keep putting in the work for teams that could not fail to lose.
What happened to droodles in last game, has happened to me once. Unfortunately I was in E100 but still got out 5874 damage, and we still lost. 5874 still remains my highest damage dealt in all of the 3900 battles I have played
It is so much fun when you get a decent clan toon on your team and also a decent toon on red. I’ll usually end up top three in damage in those battles and enjoy to the crap out of pressuring and killing the red toon, but the reason it was fun was because I had two great teammates to work with, that knew where and how to pressure, plus the red toon who put up a great fight.
I will be honest, my Win rate is 45%, but I'm not completely brain dead like some of those teams! I think I tanked all my stats when I first got the game and didn't know what I was doing

This is a game of skill? That's your first mistake.. Thinking that this game is skill based. I dare any CC to do an honest review of what skill is in WOT. You can buy OP tanks. You can buy crew skills. You can pay to get your tanks rigged out quickly. You can play on a better system(hand held or PC). You can play with a better internet provider. You have all sorts of internet anomalies. You have trolls that play to make your gaming experience terrible. You have game anomalies(disappearing shots, RNG that make no sense, 300mm's of penn that can't penn 15mm's of armor, etc). You have game lag. The list is almost endless and yet people call this a game of skill.

WG need to make each person play 1000 battles per tier… The new players have destroyed upper tiers. In the last 4 years I lost almost 5% 30 days stay in 52-55% Career is near 46% Too much gold noob yolos.
I'd be more brutal, one should check if they have aced their tier 1 tanks; a lot haven't aced their lower tiers at all. The game has gone backwards since v5.5.

I hate the matchmaking because my teammates either have 40 percent with 20k battles AND ARE STILL BOTS or they have 50 plus have 1k or less battles (if you have 1k or less battles go back to tier 1)
Yeah like the other day I had to go back to back 5k games (one of which being a loss in 5v5 where I easily could’ve gotten 6.5k if I didn’t rubber band) and my teammates just absolutely threw each game. As a relatively low hp vk90 on desert sands I won a 1v1 against a bat chat who basically was full hp and could easily stay unspotted while firing at me and before I won and basically for the whole game I had a 7k battle, THIRTY SEVEN% win rate guy in a 268v4 calling me bad after he yolod both Russian tech tree tds, an is7 and a vk72 while thinking he was invincible.
Well done. This game sucks so bad now, I play against higher tiers 90% of the time and when I play my own tier, my team is full of 40%ers, and I'm a good player but not great.
Just this morning, i was using my Ho-Ri and when the loading screen pop up, i was thrilled to see that i got to play in Castilla (because it's my favorite place for TD) only for my whole team, yes each one of them, moving around the fricking spawn point... they literally just circling around the spawn area..
The biggest problem with blitz is, it needs more players. They need to advertise it more to PC since that’s where majority of players are. They need to give the maps a graphics overhaul for PC, maybe add larger maps for tier 8-10 games and take out maps like Dynasty’s Pearl from the tier 10 map pool. They also need to fix there ads cuz as of right now they are advertising what looks to be a shitty mobile game. Once they get more players in the game they can afford to have a stricter skill based matchmaker since games won’t be so difficult to find. Ratings also needs to have a larger incentive to do well.
i am averaging %55 wr in APAC servers which is alright for me but, to tell you the truth APAC servers are absolute hell and the teams there, don't think correctly.
My most recent battle, team breakdown. Green team Amx 13-75, Leo, Basilisk, KV-1, KV-3, Tiger P and JgPz IV. Avg battles fought 3200 (two had under 400), avg WR 47.7% (2 highest were ones with under 400 battles), avg damage 610. Red Team: Amx 12t, Strv 74, Tiger 1, Tankenstein, IS-2 Shielded, Super Hellcat, JPanther. (That's 3 prem/collector to our 1). Their avg battles fought was 15500 (3 with over 15K, 1 had 60500), with avg WR of 51% and avg damage dealt of 1110. While the specific #'s vary, tge theme remains the same for around 75% of the battles ive been in/seen since the last update. Oh yes WG completely balanced/fair match maker.
Dude, WG has never said the MM takes WR and collector/premium tanks in a team as factors for the selection (besides a possible exception with the Annihilator that always faces similar tanks and special MM tanks such as the Valentine and Pz. B2 that will always be higher tier) so your comment does not really makes sense as, again, none of the things you said are considered into the MM
@erikdead8290 I know. It's actually the opposite. They acknowledge they only things MM takes into consideration is tier and type (light, med, heavy, TD). This is from a recent complaint where I completely broke down each team for them in detail. They in fact acknowledge that the "noob honeymoon" phase in a newly acquired tank (which Droodles talks about constantly) isn't a thing anymore. Neither is battle experience (ie players with 40, 50, 60K battles being matched against those with 1, 2, 3K (like me). How is one like me (avg player, slightly below). 45% W/R since update (was 49-50% b4), avg dmg is around 1100-1300 in tier 7; when going against a player with maxed crew skills, 65K battles of knowledge/experience, avg 55-60% W/R and 2500-3000 dmg. Then I see true noobs with like 600 battles, averaging 1500-2000 dmg. Like wtf, how is that even possible having to grind from Tier 1, and ZERO crew skills, game experience (mechanics, etc).
The reason why I play my favourite tank (KV-2) even if it is a tier6 tank and there are many braindead players is because you can find those npc,bots, braindead players even on tier10

Finally someone has the same feeling i have when playing rating battles, because the weird thing is: the higher i go in Ranks, the worse my teammates get. Like HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE?! I meet 60 or sometimes even 70% winrate teammates in the Gold rank, but somehow in Platinum and Diamond i literally meet just people who are barely 50% or worse. I really dont understand how that system works, but it baffles me how the higher i get in ranking, the worse my teammates get. I always try my best and of course sometimes i make mistakes too because well im just human and not perfect but i cant win against another teams when my team is just non-existant or consists of the most braindamaged people i have ever seen in a Online game.
I don't even play rankest, because the teams i get there are so bad that i jist want to cry, because always ending up the last one alive while holding 3 enemies making them think i gave some tank destroyer behind is hard.
Lmao I think I had a worse one yesterday. Playing the wz122 tm and averaged 3.4k, 2.4 kills and at least 1000 assist + block damage over 3 battles, one of them I had a damn defender medal, top gun and high caliber medal at the same time… And I lost all 3! Hurray! It’s at the point where, no matter how good I get at the game, unless I stat pad in platoons or Smurf in low tiers my WR will never eclipse 59.5%. absolute pain.
I won two games this morning just capping the base, at tier 10 lol. I am free to play, you have to be nuts to pay for anything in this clown show of a game.
I think the reason why 40% players get to platinum is simply because the ranking system gives more points on wins that it takes away in loses, allowing people that are mediocre get into the elite class by the sheer weight of hundreds of hour playing ranked, more so, i like the fact that the system gives you points if you do good even of you lose, but that means some PoS can just camp in a heavy, get some damage done mid to late game not contributing to cover flanks or push weakspots, let his team die, and still go up in rank because he made 1500 more damage before getting overrun.
When the game started you could not grind through tiers as quickly as you can now. Now people get to tier ten before they have time to learn the basics.
Since Rating Battles aren’t counted against a players W/R it’s easy to have a player with a low W/R but a high Rating, that player may have played the majority of his battles in Rating Battles, play enough of them and even a bad player will be ‘pulled’ up the ratings ladder on the coat tails of his team.
Ratings in asia server are wild, but in platinum and diamond skills are mostly competent (apart form the amx 50 b players). Usually there's one super unicum in a batchat who has to carry
When I started playing I was abt 10 so I had no tactics. So now I've got a 45% win rate at the top of gold. I'm not great by any means but I just can't compensate for my bad win rate
About the 40%er in plat thing, we improve. My profile says I have 48%, but on my 30 day I have just above 60%. We’re only stuck as a low wr becuz we USED to suck, but we’ve improved
I am playing rating for 3 months now. I can say that the teams suck always, no matter the points you have. I get teammates that have less than 1k battles when i have over 10k and this happens on 4.7k rating and more. Often you will also see players with 41% as well that die in 45 seconds dealing 0 damage and ruining game. I was loosing some games because of such teams when i was dealing 4-5k damage. I think that rating has to be reworked because it is unplayable right now
People who play this game and dont know how to play has their brains deteriorate faster than melting of North Pole. The amount of incompetent players...
They changed the mm to speed up wait times due to lack of players. This allows bad people to get higher than they should because they are not playing people with similar skill.

Then it might explain a lot, but in all servers skill level is getting worse though. BUT! From bright side! You have new challenge each time as you have to take more and more responsibility and be better to carry the whole team xD I think the issue is how easy is to get t10. Remember, when WoT was released how hard it was to level up your tanks! Like how you had to farm a LOT compared to nowadays! It made you better at fighting with tanks as you had to fight 100s of battles for top tier tanks and how hard it was to be financially sustainable also. Also, might be issue with ranking reward system. If few players are bad, others are forced to go with their "strategy" so they are not swarmed, solo killed and getting huge point reduction, but instead the strategy of exploiting teammates is there where you try to maximize the damage instead of winning so you are the only player to get points from your losing match, which might have been a win, if people played more actively not passively due to fear of ranking reduction. So these factors might make things worse. The ranking system as itself should be revised. It promotes toxic, solo play where you exploit others as meat shields so they buy time for you to do max. damage and it also does not mean anything.
every time i am playing with my clan leader he just drives behind me and scores zero to one hit, but he dies in almost every game. beside that he is an absolute wot blitz freak & encourages everybody to play the game xDxDxD
I quit world of tanks long ago even before HE shells was nerfed, the reason i quit was because i could no longer afford to keep paying for more premiums ,gold shells and next op premium tanks, due to my addiction, and looking back these days its a good thing i did quit because world of tanks has become worse over the years, my WR is 63%
You see all these players with a decent WR and avg damage, only to realize they have those numbers because they only hide in back all game and farm. Once it comes down to actually fighting, they instantly fold.
I feel like, there are some kids or something like that. And they just play to have a good time. I do get that it is frustrating, but atleast they have something to look forward to.
I’ve got a 49% chance while in diamond, I’m not bad, but from playing for over 9 years and having such bad teammates so often it’s dropping my winrate so so much and it’s so bad, rn I’m #37 on the leaderboards and I’ve been doing pretty good despite the many pissed odd people at me for not being above 50%
Resistance, you need to get snippets to grind out modules and tanks. Each week you can get 500 snippets if you play 10 rating battles. You only have to achieve silver status to receive the snippets. This incentives poor players to play Rating battles.
Your % perspective is off by a large margin. Those readings are not dependant on the individual. These days you get shit teams who sit back and chat and throw the battle on purpose causing you that loss affecting your ratios.
Because of this game, I started to doubt that the average IQ is 100

T10 is not a skilled tier. Anyone can reach it.

i started on a nintendo switch when i was 11. ended up 43% but luckily pulled it up to 51%

Its so annoying that i often dealt the most dmg in the dmg averaging more than 2.5k and then the team decides to be a nuisance

I hate that i had one game its basically a win because of 3v1 but our t30 and type 68 cap instead of killing the single e75

i am averaging %55 wr in APAC servers which is alright for me but, to tell you the truth APAC servers are absolute hell and the teams there, don't think correctly.
This is why I stopped Playing Blitz...
Oh trust me droodles ive had teams way worse. Even a team with 5 guys doing 0 dmg in Tier X.
That's why when I die I just leave and start another battle with another bad team and lost multiple battles lmao
My most recent battle, team breakdown. Green team Amx 13-75, Leo, Basilisk, KV-1, KV-3, Tiger P and JgPz IV. Avg battles fought 3200 (two had under 400), avg WR 47.7% (2 highest were ones with under 400 battles), avg damage 610.
Red Team: Amx 12t, Strv 74, Tiger 1, Tankenstein, IS-2 Shielded, Super Hellcat, JPanther. (That's 3 prem/collector to our 1). Their avg battles fought was 15500 (3 with over 15K, 1 had 60500), with avg WR of 51% and avg damage dealt of 1110.
While the specific #'s vary, tge theme remains the same for around 75% of the battles ive been in/seen since the last update.
Oh yes WG completely balanced/fair match maker.
Dude, WG has never said the MM takes WR and collector/premium tanks in a team as factors for the selection (besides a possible exception with the Annihilator that always faces similar tanks and special MM tanks such as the Valentine and Pz. B2 that will always be higher tier) so your comment does not really makes sense as, again, none of the things you said are considered into the MM
@erikdead8290 I know. It's actually the opposite. They acknowledge they only things MM takes into consideration is tier and type (light, med, heavy, TD). This is from a recent complaint where I completely broke down each team for them in detail.
They in fact acknowledge that the "noob honeymoon" phase in a newly acquired tank (which Droodles talks about constantly) isn't a thing anymore. Neither is battle experience (ie players with 40, 50, 60K battles being matched against those with 1, 2, 3K (like me).
How is one like me (avg player, slightly below). 45% W/R since update (was 49-50% b4), avg dmg is around 1100-1300 in tier 7; when going against a player with maxed crew skills, 65K battles of knowledge/experience, avg 55-60% W/R and 2500-3000 dmg.
Then I see true noobs with like 600 battles, averaging 1500-2000 dmg. Like wtf, how is that even possible having to grind from Tier 1, and ZERO crew skills, game experience (mechanics, etc).
I dontget it. his 3rd match, if I was up at C where he was I would've been dead in 30 seconds.
The reason why I play my favourite tank (KV-2) even if it is a tier6 tank and there are many braindead players is because you can find those npc,bots, braindead players even on tier10

Finally someone has the same feeling i have when playing rating battles, because the weird thing is: the higher i go in Ranks, the worse my teammates get. Like HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE?! I meet 60 or sometimes even 70% winrate teammates in the Gold rank, but somehow in Platinum and Diamond i literally meet just people who are barely 50% or worse. I really dont understand how that system works, but it baffles me how the higher i get in ranking, the worse my teammates get. I always try my best and of course sometimes i make mistakes too because well im just human and not perfect but i cant win against another teams when my team is just non-existant or consists of the most braindamaged people i have ever seen in a Online game.
I don't even play rankest, because the teams i get there are so bad that i jist want to cry, because always ending up the last one alive while holding 3 enemies making them think i gave some tank destroyer behind is hard.
i mean, at least in the first, they lived till the end, my worst teams die i LITERALLY 1 MINUTE .

Lmao I think I had a worse one yesterday. Playing the wz122 tm and averaged 3.4k, 2.4 kills and at least 1000 assist + block damage over 3 battles, one of them I had a damn defender medal, top gun and high caliber medal at the same time…
And I lost all 3! Hurray! It’s at the point where, no matter how good I get at the game, unless I stat pad in platoons or Smurf in low tiers my WR will never eclipse 59.5%. absolute pain.
I won two games this morning just capping the base, at tier 10 lol. I am free to play, you have to be nuts to pay for anything in this clown show of a game.

I think the reason why 40% players get to platinum is simply because the ranking system gives more points on wins that it takes away in loses, allowing people that are mediocre get into the elite class by the sheer weight of hundreds of hour playing ranked, more so, i like the fact that the system gives you points if you do good even of you lose, but that means some PoS can just camp in a heavy, get some damage done mid to late game not contributing to cover flanks or push weakspots, let his team die, and still go up in rank because he made 1500 more damage before getting overrun.
When the game started you could not grind through tiers as quickly as you can now. Now people get to tier ten before they have time to learn the basics.
Two times i manage to kill all the 7 of the enemy team in a Semovente and with my beloved Bassotto...
Since Rating Battles aren’t counted against a players W/R it’s easy to have a player with a low W/R but a high Rating, that player may have played the majority of his battles in Rating Battles, play enough of them and even a bad player will be ‘pulled’ up the ratings ladder on the coat tails of his team.

Ratings in asia server are wild, but in platinum and diamond skills are mostly competent (apart form the amx 50 b players). Usually there's one super unicum in a batchat who has to carry

I've seen one dude in AS who played 22k games with a 23.33 winrate, unbelievable
When I started playing I was abt 10 so I had no tactics. So now I've got a 45% win rate at the top of gold. I'm not great by any means but I just can't compensate for my bad win rate

Bad teammates in ranked....I played four battles 1 win .... The other 3 is 1 minute and my team gone ...
About the 40%er in plat thing, we improve. My profile says I have 48%, but on my 30 day I have just above 60%. We’re only stuck as a low wr becuz we USED to suck, but we’ve improved
I am playing rating for 3 months now. I can say that the teams suck always, no matter the points you have. I get teammates that have less than 1k battles when i have over 10k and this happens on 4.7k rating and more. Often you will also see players with 41% as well that die in 45 seconds dealing 0 damage and ruining game. I was loosing some games because of such teams when i was dealing 4-5k damage. I think that rating has to be reworked because it is unplayable right now
People who play this game and dont know how to play has their brains deteriorate faster than melting of North Pole. The amount of incompetent players...
Yesterday i did 5,6k dmg in chrystler because both teams was camping in spawn and nobody wanted to deal damage
They changed the mm to speed up wait times due to lack of players. This allows bad people to get higher than they should because they are not playing people with similar skill.
I guess this is most embarrassing victory for you, lol. I guess I lost respect for platinum + players too.

You playing on USA server? Then it might explain a lot, but in all servers skill level is getting worse though.
BUT! From bright side! You have new challenge each time as you have to take more and more responsibility and be better to carry the whole team xD
I think the issue is how easy is to get t10. Remember, when WoT was released how hard it was to level up your tanks! Like how you had to farm a LOT compared to nowadays! It made you better at fighting with tanks as you had to fight 100s of battles for top tier tanks and how hard it was to be financially sustainable also.
Also, might be issue with ranking reward system. If few players are bad, others are forced to go with their "strategy" so they are not swarmed, solo killed and getting huge point reduction, but instead the strategy of exploiting teammates is there where you try to maximize the damage instead of winning so you are the only player to get points from your losing match, which might have been a win, if people played more actively not passively due to fear of ranking reduction. So these factors might make things worse. The ranking system as itself should be revised. It promotes toxic, solo play where you exploit others as meat shields so they buy time for you to do max. damage and it also does not mean anything.
every time i am playing with my clan leader he just drives behind me and scores zero to one hit, but he dies in almost every game. beside that he is an absolute wot blitz freak & encourages everybody to play the game xDxDxD

I quit world of tanks long ago even before HE shells was nerfed, the reason i quit was because i could no longer afford to keep paying for more premiums ,gold shells and next op premium tanks, due to my addiction, and looking back these days its a good thing i did quit because world of tanks has become worse over the years, my WR is 63%

I had a game yesterday, a half heath Vickers light vs a full health 4204 and a full health obj 704. The 4202 died to the Vickers. Then the 704. How.
You see all these players with a decent WR and avg damage, only to realize they have those numbers because they only hide in back all game and farm.
Once it comes down to actually fighting, they instantly fold.
I feel like, there are some kids or something like that. And they just play to have a good time. I do get that it is frustrating, but atleast they have something to look forward to.
Regularly get worse teams than this. Very common to have 2-3 players with 0 damage.
I’ve got a 49% chance while in diamond, I’m not bad, but from playing for over 9 years and having such bad teammates so often it’s dropping my winrate so so much and it’s so bad, rn I’m #37 on the leaderboards and I’ve been doing pretty good despite the many pissed odd people at me for not being above 50%

Skill has been on the decline since 5.5 and introduction of fast tracking, boosters and game modes for grinding.
From my experience of playing rating recently. It's even worse then pubs. Ratings used to have atleast slightly bettter players imo.

Resistance, you need to get snippets to grind out modules and tanks. Each week you can get 500 snippets if you play 10 rating battles. You only have to achieve silver status to receive the snippets. This incentives poor players to play Rating battles.

Your % perspective is off by a large margin. Those readings are not dependant on the individual. These days you get shit teams who sit back and chat and throw the battle on purpose causing you that loss affecting your ratios.
