6:53 nah as someone from australia, if your not from the us, the only way to get melodys hair is through pure luck and predictions. i only recently got it cause i got lucky enough for the song not to freeze midway

I literally can't do it as i have so much ping (As an Australian i always have 250+ , on good days 220) and i have alot of lag spikes, its just based on luck at this point
As someone from Australia too and someone who's done the harp 3 TIMES, this is just wrong. All you need is STABLE internet (no lag spikes, which isn't strictly an Australian thing) and you can do it. Ping delay is something you work into your muscle memory and you end up doing regardless of whether you're American, European, etc. The ONLY thing that factors in is an unstable connection, and this is not exclusive to Australians.
@@ModernSoldier its easy to say "just get stable internet" for someone whose job it is to play and stream this game, unfortunately for a lot of people outside of the us, a stable connection is so much harder to guarantee. the lag spikes (for me at least) don't get too annoying playing a good majority of the game but with minigames that require a stable connection like the dojo or melody, it gets frustrating knowing that your doing everything you can but your connection holds you back.
Wish the episodes were a bit longer, for this one in particular I imagine it was mostly just harp playing so it makes sense, but I just binged all 3 episodes and didn't even kill half an hour

it's really embarrassing that I can do 10+ star maps on osu mania and I still can't do through the campfire
osu! is a LOOOOT faster from what I have understood, so I can see how it would throw you off

@@aleksaovsek Which isn't a ping issue, that's your internet being unstable. An unstable connection is a very different thing to high ping, and high ping is not a reasonable excuse to not have completed Melody's Harp
I just think it is a location problem cuz servers are in Us
@@aleksaovsek Most servers you connect to won't be local, so that's not true either. It simply just comes down to whether you have a strong internet connection or not

Melody is such a fking pain with the freezes and rubberbanding im experiencing. Its not just lagg its like actual freezes. And the longer the song the more likely it is to happen.
Anyway i managed to do it aswell very proud.

when u said that if i didnt do melodies hair im skill issuing i stayed on my computer for 12 FUCKING HOURS NON STOP TRYING AND FAILING again and again and again it just got kind of personal so thanks 👍👍

Melody hair is rlly hard ok??? I’m in Asia and i AT LEAST have 200ms and basically everything is FROZEN. Same like dojo challenges

Excpet for me who plays with like 400 ping and uses a fking raspberry pi for minecraft. I'm pretty sure its not possible with my setup because of the stupid amounts of lag and low fps

I did every song in every of my profiles for a total of 27 counting my two accounts and the profiles I eliminated with 148ms which is not bad

Melody's hair is pretty easy, its kinda like 98% rng cuz of ping tho. Esp if melody is bugged and won't sell u the pers harp for some reason even if u meet the reqs(couldn't buy of ah cuz ironman) got it a long time ago cuz it wasn't too many hours for an epic tali but i remember it being horrible

@@Rellez i get it consistently 1st try every bingo and i live in asia with 300 ping, so im pretty sure everyone who complains is just skill issuing
@@AnEnderNon if ur ping is consistant its fine cuz then u can jus get used to it. However not every1's ping is consistant so for example sometimes i have only 150 ms but then 5s later its 400 ms

australian players when they find out melody is based on ping
I'm Australian and I've literally completed the harp 3 times and finished Pachelbel (the last song on the paid harp) twice. Ping only changes your timing slightly, but the skill required remains the same.

It is skill issue, because I have 250+ ping at all times thanks to being Australian. You need to learn the timings and practice rather than complain about your delay.

This is the only exception because you cannot do anything about an unstable connection. Assuming you have usable internet it shouldn't happen often enough to ruin EVERY melody run you do, but it will be a minor inconvenience when you go for the talisman.

I'm Australian and I have 250 ping my friend. I've done the harp 3 times and completed some songs multiple times purely for fun, so no, it's not hard, you're just bad.

Its not skill issue. Its called "your ping spikes to 10k ms every 5 minutes"
Yeah if this does happen then you can't really do much. But when it comes to PING, the strategy with 20 ping is no different to 250 ping. It all comes down to muscle memory and timing no matter how delayed it is

My guy, I did it in this video in under 30 minutes with 250+ ping. It's not hard, you just need to practice and learn the timings

the thing about me is i have 400 ms so its almost imposible to do melodys
I have 250 ms and it doesn't really make a difference. You just need to get used to your delay and learn the timings appropriately
