    Man over here casually creating the future of game graphics.

    That is really sick! love the function based modeling. also just casually dropped a "my other projects are gonna take forever so I build a 3d mdoleing engine to quickly produce a video" is insane

    Very Cool vids dude! Keep going i love seeing what little projects people make. Most of us dont upload them but the more i watch you the more i want more people to show what they are working on even if it is simple. Very nice, love your content!

    I absolutely love what your're doing. I love the idea of saving data as code. I recommend acerola's recent video on color theory. It's called "Your colors suck (it's not your fault)"

    This channel is so underrated. The stuff you do here is insane! I do have one question though cause I get how the infinite 3d models in the modeling software are just based on math but do you have your own way of exporting these models and do you have some kind of special api that you made in order to handle things like an infinitely repeating mesh or is there some known and already widely used file format or standard designed for things like that?

      @and_I_am_Life_the_fixer_of_all 3 місяці тому +1

      I'm not sure how the channel creator did it, but as someone who has build my own engines, you usually don't even export data or create an api for it as that would be extra work, but who knows!

    the infinite 3d modeling software looks very cool, is there any way one could try your program with like a patreon or something. Still love these vids

    Perlin Noise is math right? Why not use Perlin Noise as the equation for random obstacle spawning? That would look good. its infinite too

    Hey, I'm not sure of what your career path looks like, but I think you could consider doing a study about using this program as a way to teach mathematics (once you refine it more). It could probably evolve into a PhD project. Best regards :)

    Hi Carter, are you using any acceleration structures for your ray marching? If not do you plan on adding some and have you run into performance issues?

    carter i really really wanna start coding but unfortunately lost at the starting, can u give me a starting point ?

    • @CarterSemrad
      @CarterSemrad  2 місяці тому

      i think the best way to learn to code is by making a project you really want to make. one of my first projects ever that helped me learn a lot was this: veryclevername3.github.io/Portal-Jump/game.html
      if you can't think of any project, a good starter project is the dinosaur game with javascript, using the html canvas for graphics.
      i looked online and this seems like a pretty good tutorial: ua-cam.com/video/ooru4pyEv1I/v-deo.html
      best of luck!
