Best looking McLaren ,besides the Speed Tail of course and a bit less expensive ! Just took delivery of mine today , I put about 60 miles on it this afternoon , I love it so far!!! Pictures don’t do it justice, you must see this car in person!
Great review! It may be a GT but it’s a super car through n through with the McLaren DNA obvious once you get on the driver seat. Collecting mine in two weeks!
If only McLaren would make this like a Ferrari 612, a proper GT. People who buy the GT want a supple ride and also a quiet ride. Those who want more stiffness and more noise can choose from other models. Good to see a UA-camr who was born after 1990!
Quick question please. Is it worth taking out the baffles in the 2021 model, will it sound as good as the 2022 model by doing this or does track mode on a 2021 make the sounds identical to the 2022 anyway but just eliminates the optional slightly quieter option when not in track mode?
When you push active in sport mode or track mode in a 21 it sounds like a 22 when you just start it so if it was mine I would probably remove the baffles but I you better check on the powertrain warranty in case it messes with that the last thing you want is to not have a power train warranty
The sound in the 2021 is identical once the active mode is on. Personally I prefer the option of baffles as there are times I may want to be nice to the neighbours!!
@@supercarsinsecondsluxuryre8258 Two things I think that could improve this GT ?? 1….. in the rear space I think there should be a hinged cage you can lift up to protect skidding objects sliding into the both seats……..2…… Do not understand with all this technology the internal rear view mirror is NOT switchable to a rear camera, that’s means no matter how much items you have in the rear you will still have full visibility WHATS behind you ??? Matter of fact ALL CARS SHOULD HAVE IT ESPECIALLY SUV etc etc …… Perhaps if you agree you should give this feedback to McLaren ?

bought this after watching this review. worst mistake of my life. POS car. engine sounds great but cannot drive it because rattle are crazy on brand new darn car, fluid leak, loose bolts… bull crap quality. cannot park it either in your own dang garage because the dash leather will melt. getting rid of this POS as soon as it is back from dash repair. 9 months of ownership and back at dealer for 4th time now McLaren corporate wont even respond anymore
I am asking the Law of Attraction to land this McLaren in my Orbit.
