Education in Thailand is provided mainly by the Thai government through the Ministry of Education from pre-school to senior high school. A FREE basic education to fifteen years is guaranteed by the Thai constitution THEN u have the private schools and international schools that DO cost money.. Pretty weird that a teacher haven't knowledge about the system in the county he works in..
But, if I was a teacher... How could I profit from students staying... Don't I have a monthly wage..? I doubt teachers get a "commission" on students not leaving...but maybe they are worried of losing all students and then being without a job... Interesting anyways
