One thing I noticed is how slightly subdued the colors are in the final product compared to in the original concept art, where they are more bold and comic-like. This also goes for the designs some of the characters and environments, where they appear more exaggerated like Golden Age comics in the original art, compared to a somewhat more realistic take in the final film. While it could have just been due to the technological limitations of the time, I just feel like that change really helped to ground the final film more, and better visually communicate its premise of showing the "fantastic and mundane" of a world with superheroes.
