I thought that an earlier report stated that the driver was able to get out of the truck and climb out of the water. My condolences to his family and loved ones.

Which cities get their water out of Deer Creek Reservoir? I had been told Provos water comes out of there, but not sure on everything. Like Payson, and Spanish Fork, used to get their water out of Strawberry instead, for agriculture... This makes it confusing when you have places very close together not always having the same sources for water.

They well knew that the driver was deceased right away. With the danger of fire from the leaking LPG, they chose to let it leak off before trying any recovery.

. I heard another say that the truck jackknifed on Dry Road really? . Not sure how that's possible but I drove truck for 36 years and never had any incidents like that. But a lot of today's trucks do not have a hand control which could eliminate that. Or maybe the driver just didn't have enough experience. But I don't know why he wasn't able to get out of the cab the water there didn't appear to be very deep and I didn't hear them say that he was pinned in there either
