Charizard is still not a dragon it had 2 mega evolutions in generation 6 the first was Mega Charizard X which was fire and dragon it's it second charizard Y was a fire and flying and in generation 8 charizard has a Gigantamax form in gen 8 it still fire and flying. Charizard is a wannabe dragon type while my boy Drago has been just about every type of dragon be it two legs, four legs, two wings, four wings, mech wings.....you name it. Plus Charizard is tiny by comparison except in Gigantamax form and even then might be smaller. Oh and did I mention Drago can pull up strapped with all sorts of cannons if he wants, being a warrior is literally in his genes and if all of that isn’t enough his Japanese voice actor was Keiji Fujiwara (Leorio from HxH) (RIP) so thats instant goat status with that alone. Charizard fact: they were originally going to MAKE him a Fire Dragon, but OG pokemon dragons were way too OP having only 2 weaknesses, Ice and Dragon. If they made Charizard Fire Dragon, he’d be way too powerful with only one weakness, so they decided on Fire Flying.
