Ronaldo Nazario's underrated weapon

- When you think of Ronaldo Nazario, you probably think of his elite dribbling and runs. But there were many other elements at play, one of the main ones being his amazing off-the ball movement to create trouble for opposing defences. Can you imagine trying to mark Ronaldo when he moved all over the pitch, on top of his super speed and dribbling? He was surely a handful.

He’s the most complete forward ever and the best player of all time imo
It is said that positioning is an aspect that is not talked about enough in football
It's understandable that people focus on his speed and dribbling since he was such a beast, but he was a complete player. His passing ability and link-up play also aren't mentioned enough.
His human body could not handle his superhuman abilities. One of a kind.
Him and Batistuta would have had longer careers if we had better sports medical science back then.
Like how sports scientists made Messi change his playstyle to reduce injuries caused by his acceleration
@@Timbone07 I wondered how Messi survived so long. He doesn’t naturally have the physique that suggests the longevity he’s been able to maintain. Guess older eras had to walk so they can run now lol.
@@nmarcus7233 Yeah, look at Haaland with his cryogenic treatments.
I had physical therapy and I can attest to the effectiveness of cold treatments. You have things like acupuncture getting prevalent in Western medicine too.
Like on American basketball, I would argue that Haaland's physique is not 100% genetic
Ronaldo guardiola
This guy scored 47 goals at age 20 in his first season at Barcelona without a legendary playmaker like Messi to assist him. In comparison Neymar (young and upcoming) and Suarez (in his prime) only did half of that in their first season and they had Messi to assist them.
CRonaldo in first Man Utd season at age 19 scored 6. Messi scored 17 in his first proper season at 19 including hat trick against Madrid.
If this guy stayed injury free and hit his prime, he would be unstoppable and there would be no debate on who is the GOAT.
Well, to be fair, he did have Guardiola and Figo feeding him passes. They weren't too shabby!
@@wiseonwords Guardiola was a holding midfielder and Figo was a winger, neither one was a traditional number 10. I always thought Figo was overrated anyway. You can't compare that to having Messi, Iniesta, Xavi, Ronaldinho, etc playing alongside you.
So glad I found ur channel. Amazing videos, thanks
I thought it was about his freekick taking.
His movement showed in Madrid when injuries slowed him down
Ronaldo Fenomeno also had a great record against Atletico Madrid, 8 goals in 3 matches.
Idolo!
Phenomenal player
Yes Ronaldo video! I love you
more videos like this of the phenomenom
In terms of movements without the ball, only Suarez, Messi and Cristiano are comparable to him.
There are a lot of players that have similar or better movement without the ball, not just the ones you mentioned.
@@Noah-ji1yi at that level are very few.
@@mike0133 Many forwards have that ability of finding space and moving well
@@Noah-ji1yi yeah, and they aren’t necessarily better players as a whole, but some have better positioning than other ex. Inzaghi
@@relentero8547 Exactly, there are many players like that based on positioning only
