    Bison Back Ribs. They're big, bold and Bison-y! I was honored to be the first customer/consumer/you tube video creator to try them. Many, many thanks to everyone at Nebraska Bison for that!
    We do a long "Low & Slow" with both racks, consisting of 2 hours in a slow smoke and 2 1/2 hours in a steam/veggie broth bath. The ribs were tender and delicious beyond belief. I borrowed the steam bath idea from our good friend Troy @ / spacecowboytx
    This was a super easy recipe that garnered great results.

    Those looked great. Good idea on braising them in the pan with the veggies + stock. I'm nowhere near Nebraska, but have a local source of Bison meat - so will be sure to try this out with some soon!

    I'll be heading down to Southern Missouri and Arkansas soon , always keep you in mind when I see some of the BBQ sauces down there , try to pick you up some new ones .

    I have bison ribs in the freezer and I've been wondering how to cook them. I don't have a smoker but I think I want to try this anyway. Maybe I could do them in the pan with the broth and veggies like you did and then sear them on the grill directly?

    Why do they look like normal ribs? Aren't bison back ribs straight with meat on both sides with no membrane?
