The first ending i've get was Wilson ending. Somehow i thought it's a must to carry him around in this game, like what we did with carrying wheatley Portal 2. The best part? Wilson never betrayed us.
I like how his free will was really what kept Walker alive, the moment they take it from him he ends up being just another soldier in Gordon and Alyx's rampage
Combine soldiers actually have free will, but they are all conformist because that's all they know due to the memory wipe, to them they have lived their entire lives under the combine, so why would they ever leave. that is why the combine swear in half life 2, and there is an Easter egg in hl2 where a combine soldier orders his men to retreat so that he can face Gordon alone.
I took Wilson for the entire trip just walking, the trip was fun, I really liked the dialogues he has, I felt happy when he rescued us, I hope that in Entropy 3, we will see him again. A 10/10, highly recommended.

Yeap, in the 2nd phase of the fight when the advisor makes pretty much everything fly, it also becomes vulnerable to Xen grenades. The explosion suck them to Xen only to come back paralyzed for a brief moment that you can fire double shotgun in close range. 😎
I find it really ambitious for a mod team to give themselves a "G-Man" ending, keeping his writing elements mysterious enough that it fits all we don't know about him. The voice acting was really good.
also how gman says "you have given me TIME". It could really fit the canon how gman can time travel during the events of half life alyx. maybe he was not able to do before and now that he got the borealis from 36, he went back into half life alyx timeline and changed the future ( this is literally my head canon now, I'm happy with that and i think valve will never do anything related to borealis or half life episode 3 with that original timeline )
So as far as i can see, the Combine ending is canon to Half Life 2 and Wilson ending is canon to Entropy Zero itself I also love the cliffhanger at Wilson ending, makes me think there is gonna be Entropy Zero 3, or Entropy Zero 2 Episode 1 and Episode 2, Entropy Zero Alyx etc.
I think the Wilson ending is entirely canon, is logical that Bad Coo wouldn't let his memory being wiped, I wonder if Entropy Zero 3 will happen and waiting for it only depend on whenever Half Life 3 happens, it still can take place outside the events with Gordon, would be crazy if Valve made this games canon and connected the events (it ain't the first time a valve game mod becomes official)
Well, if the 3rd chapter isn't happening you could pretty much say advisor ending is canon since the protagonist is killed by gordon and there is nothing to continue
It is most likely that EZ:3 will countinue from the Wilson ending, its makes the most sense, this time, both the rebels and the combine will be hostile, honestly i don't really wanna pick sides for him, i also expect some changes to his Elite soldier model, he expressed that he hates the armor's white color, maybe he'll repaint it and get rid of the combine insignia
So the Combine Ending takes place in the Epistle Three timeline where as the Gman Ending and maybe the Wilson Ending are possibly in the Alyx Timeline? Damn, I hope the Wilson Ending is the right one. Especially if it means an EZ3 someday. And if it doesn't, well then this fun either way.
I have a feeling that Wilson tried to talk to Walker multiple times but clearly realized that he isn't the same anymore. Then Gordon and Alyx come along, and Wilson decides to help them. There's another comment saying that the combine ending is the canon ending to the Half-Life 2 universe, while the Wilson ending is the canon ending to the Entropy Zero universe.

The Combine knew that Aiden have split personality, and they used it to manipulate him. They convinced him, that "people took everything". And they also gave to his second personality a name - Bad Cop. They were trying to combine rage of Bad Cop and tragedy of Aiden Walker, to get a PERFECT soldier. He's DEAD". And I think that Aiden, unlike the Bad Cop, is actually regrets that he have done back at City-10 and Arctic. So, that do you think? P.S. Sorry for my bad English, btw ^^
I like this theory. There is also something to be said about host bodies and the effect that they have on imprinted templates. In Chapter 6, Clone Cop tells Bad Cop "That host body doesn't suit you. You got a big mouth. You talk too much." there's something in that, I think.
I just ended the walkthrough with Wilson ending, and... That's so epic! I love how this malfunction turret has grow to the great AI, which could even hack Combine systems. Has anyone tried getting the Gnome to the end? Don't know if it's even possible considering you get teleported around every now and then. It's the gnome with the rebel mask/welder on. I carried it a good majority of the way, but decided to make a save and leave it behind incase I wanted to go back for it when I wanted to be a try hard lol.
I think it was two things, the combine were nearby and most likely, the Vorts were saving Alyx from the Hunter attack, so G-Man had to dip fast to be able to talk to Gordon and make Alyx say the line to Eli.
@@Bradamir No we’re not. It takes Alyx and Gordon like at least a day and a half to reach the White Forest before they see that, Mossman recorded that message earlier in the day during Entropy Zero 2
Apparently, attacking the Gman in any way whatsoever, be it by kicking him or shooting him with a weapon spawned using console commands, will result in him instantly teleporting you to that cave to die by a Gonome. I decided to be stupid on my second playthrough and kicked the Gman in the face when I realized I still could kick things after being teleported to the Borealis to meet him. Tried kicking the Gonome to death as well but the health regen doesn't heal you fast enough to kill the Gonome in time. Might be possible to kick it to death without dying but I'm not sure
Imagine the gang from Half Life 2 showing up to raid the Borealis only to find a random Sentry Turret (something they likely have never seen or heard of before) had taken control of it.
I hated Wilson. When I saw him first time. I thought "great, another toy, that I must carry, like a gnome Chomski." He annoyed me till the end of game. Like his model always made me fly higher than striders and I died multiple times, but whenever I've lost him, I went after him, without even knowing how hard I am attached to him. When he asked if I like him through hints, I really thought, "nah, it can't be that I love that goofy android", but during fight with clone, I realized that I was really sad when Wilson was hurt. I really believed I can save him, since Combine had really advanced technology. This game is an absolute masterpiece.
I just didn't have the heart in me to leave Willson behid. I just had to have him by my side. I didn't expect him to come back at the end. I was really upset when I thought he died. I left him in the upload room. Then I thought "he's probably dead, so I should make his dying wish a reality". I destroyed the Borealis, had the G-man ending and when I saw the blue light coming in from the window, I thought "ah, hell! The Combine still got me!" Then Willson came in at the last second and saved me.
Why would they? Like they said, you're a problem soul, only a temporary asset for this job. And if they need another one, they'll just do the same thing they did at the beginning of the game, just give another clone their will and faculties and do it all over again.
The Combine Ending, the part where the Combine Soldier is killed by a barrel with the sound of a gravity gun and Dog's appearance before the brainwashed 3650 indicates the arrival of Gordon Freeman and his rebel forces. It's a shame we do not get an full-on actual appearance of Gordon Freeman, only his shadow behind 3650 is shown. It would suit more if 3650 was shown being eliminated by Gordon Freeman. Like, just 3650 turning around and watching a prop is launched into his face by Gordon Freeman with the gravity gun.
for some reason the messages the pop up on the screen telling you not to hurt the advisor as if they are telepathic messages in your head telling you what to do reminds me of something similar in another game, but i dont know what.
I think it's because of the Combine. Advisors knows about G-Man and maybe they were able to track down Aiden even if he weren't anymore on the main plain of existence (I don't know how to call G-Man's world). So, my guess is the following : they wanted to make Aiden keep back in order to capture and interrogate him and G-Man have sensed their detection and intrusion into his world.
It almost resembles HL:A's Vault, which itself was a containment unit for G-Man. Even the location of the building is similar, but this particular time he gets away, and the Combine ended up with a bunch of rubble and, unfortunately, 36.
Pretty sure the removed the part at the end of the combine ending. Walker just walks up to the bridge for a bit does some stuff and then the credits roll.
I took Wilson all the way up to the fight with the other version of you, and then through the fight I lost him and couldn't find him at all so I got the G-Man ending
What does it mean when the G man says he can offer something else of value, and we see the images of your original CP body, Clone cop and the Advisor behind Gman? Does that mean Gman can either: get you an organic body similar, get clone cop back or get you back into the Combine rank?
10:41 I felt that sigh. 3650 went through so much, and still, his efforts within the Combine did not allow him to find out what happened to his daughter. That was the reason he joined in the first place. All it did allow were the deaths of countless innocents. Not just that, he lost the only friend he truly became attached to and his clone was right all along.
i didn't expect that i can shoot them, so first i killed the clone without letting him even speak, and then after quick loading i started clicking at the advisor, thinking i cannot shoot...
I lost Wilson at the time I had to go to the cabin for that showdown. I went back to the car up the stairs and rocks but he completely vanished. He was there when I left. Kinda sucked having to noclip the rest of the stashes xd
He may have got blown up; He can actually get damaged enough to explode. However, you can spawn him and reset his script with a few console commands in a pinch.
Kinda wish if you resisted dying to the advisor and never shot him after denying a memory wipe, you'd get an alternate CMB ending where you're kept. Just an alternate/non-canon end.
IMO Wilson ending = Entropy Zero universe Canon Combine ending = Half Life universe Canon, and hopefully we see Gordon kill mindwiped 3650 in episode 3 the exact same way
I just did it, they are saying the imprinting failed some sort of mental block is stopping it working, second one says alien gibberish, first one agrees to keep trying as they will break through eventually.
not sure if you're trying to reference Locus from Red vs Blue, but 3650 is pretty similar to Locus now that I think about it. He's not particularly allied with anyone, and he betrayed the original alliance he had after he learnt of what they did.

Overwatch said stop kicking it.
He stopped kicking it.
the first ending is really nice and i love how it reffers to freeman
Clone cop is so underrated.
I didn't know it was even possible not to kill the advisor, I thought you HAD to shoot. Can't wait for the inevitable EZ:3
Imagine the gang from Half Life 2 showing up to raid the Borealis only to find a random Sentry Turret (something they likely have never seen or heard of before) had taken control of it.
I LOVED THIS GAME SO MUCH! I got the Wilson ending and I almost cried.
Man I REALLY regret not taking Wilson with me... I thought I'd come back to the APC but in the end I just left him there :(
i survived the fight with 36, but my arms needed replaced
This video would have been much better with in-game subtitles (captions) turned on.
Thank you for this vid on this amazing mod but it would be nice to have the subtitles turned on lol
I left Wilson somewhere along the way, thinking I could circle back to him but it was too late :( RIP Wilson
Really wish you had subtitles on because the advisors are a pain to understand, but otherwise great video.
it have, just doesnt work on any language far from English, you have to manually activate it on Audio Settings
@@xXFlameHaze92Xx they meant in-game subtitles.
They fixed that few days ago
No matter how many times I replay, I can't allow myself not to get the Wilson ending. It just seems wrong.
i kinda expected that the combine would turn you into an advisor
Why would they? Like they said, you're a problem soul, only a temporary asset for this job. And if they need another one, they'll just do the same thing they did at the beginning of the game, just give another clone their will and faculties and do it all over again.
4 endings in mod game, what a chad developers
I'm confused as to what exactly happens at the end when G-Man decides to leave you in the room. Why does he suddenly leave? What was that green ray?
I think it's because of the Combine. Advisors knows about G-Man and maybe they were able to track down Aiden even if he weren't anymore on the main plain of existence (I don't know how to call G-Man's world). So, my guess is the following : they wanted to make Aiden keep back in order to capture and interrogate him and G-Man have sensed their detection and intrusion into his world.
butnuget301 Play Half life 2 Episode one and you'll know what happened to gman...
@@leontobares9247 Ohhh okay. I had my suspicions that the tower blowing up had something to do with that. Thanks
The green energy is just standard Half Life portal stuff
It almost resembles HL:A's Vault, which itself was a containment unit for G-Man. Even the location of the building is similar, but this particular time he gets away, and the Combine ended up with a bunch of rubble and, unfortunately, 36.
I accidently god the 19:19 ending. I was trying to kick the thing and i accidently kicked gman
Wilson is a good friends. He never betrayed to you. Just like Wheatley does..
hope that if they make an entropy zero 3, the wilson ending is the canon one
in the combine ending if you put wilson in the upload station you can see him on the monotor for a second
bruh Wilson was like "leave me here for awhile and pick me up later" and I never could get back to him
when you go around the door opens and combine soldiers come through I did the same thing had to replay half of the game
Мне концовка с уилсоном очень понравилась надеюсь она каноничная)
Pretty sure the removed the part at the end of the combine ending. Walker just walks up to the bridge for a bit does some stuff and then the credits roll.
I took Wilson all the way up to the fight with the other version of you, and then through the fight I lost him and couldn't find him at all so I got the G-Man ending
5:56 if you look at the window and at the computer you can see Wilson
What does it mean when the G man says he can offer something else of value, and we see the images of your original CP body, Clone cop and the Advisor behind Gman? Does that mean Gman can either: get you an organic body similar, get clone cop back or get you back into the Combine rank?
10:41 I felt that sigh. 3650 went through so much, and still, his efforts within the Combine did not allow him to find out what happened to his daughter. That was the reason he joined in the first place. All it did allow were the deaths of countless innocents. Not just that, he lost the only friend he truly became attached to and his clone was right all along.
6:33 i actually havent seen this part of this ending , but thats actually really cool, dog and gordon is a wonderful duo
I actually got 1000iq ending accidentally when I was trying to zoom in on gman's face and pressed the wrong button lmao . I was so confused
14:13 Grub Breen?
Exactly what I thought
I just did a Wilson-less run and it hits different. Especially that bleak ending.
G-man ending was the first one i got, since i was literally just testing if you could shoot the advisor during that cutscence
i didn't expect that i can shoot them, so first i killed the clone without letting him even speak, and then after quick loading i started clicking at the advisor, thinking i cannot shoot...
Wilson made me cry, then he got me pumped for whatever comes next. Cannon ending for me.
In the Wilson ending, I literally thought we are becoming the clone cop and everything we went through will happen again
At 4:10 you can see the combine overworld
the combine ending is half life 3. the wilson ending is entropy zero 3.
The Combine ending had some very cool effects!
Poor 3650 in combine ending he loses his self and becomes a mindless thing
I've played through this game 2 times and I got the Wilson ending both times, I just couldn't leave Wilson on my second play through.
Kinda wish if you resisted dying to the advisor and never shot him after denying a memory wipe, you'd get an alternate CMB ending where you're kept. Just an alternate/non-canon end.
LMAO 1000 IQ ending: Starts to kick Gman's groin
IMO
Wilson ending = Entropy Zero universe Canon
Combine ending = Half Life universe Canon, and hopefully we see Gordon kill mindwiped 3650 in episode 3 the exact same way
if you throw xen grenades during the advisor battle, vorteghiests will spawn and help you fight
Wilson ending is the best of all
Я всегда думал, что кто нибудь да скажет во время прохождения: УУУИИИИЛСООООН!!! Отсылаясь на Машиниму по хф2.
That gonome is kinda of thick!
Anyone know what the Advisor was saying?
no )
OP forgot to turn on subtitles, they are a must in this game
@@hogpilot9735 absolutely, the game is almost a mess without it. None of the talks are understandable.
I just did it, they are saying the imprinting failed some sort of mental block is stopping it working, second one says alien gibberish, first one agrees to keep trying as they will break through eventually.
lol, the first ending I've got after playing this was...... 1000 iq ending :D
"WILSON?!" You and me both Walker, Wilson is a G.
The final ending gave me Black Mesa bad ending vibes.
3650, To A member of the Resistance, after the Wilson ending.
"Im not doing this for the resistance, or the combine, im doing this for me."
not sure if you're trying to reference Locus from Red vs Blue, but 3650 is pretty similar to Locus now that I think about it. He's not particularly allied with anyone, and he betrayed the original alliance he had after he learnt of what they did.
I only wish we could understand what the adviser is saying...
yah the whole game I was like what the heck
@@feoleb subtitles
Subtitles (dialog only), God bless your soul if you actually played the entire game without subtitles.
Coudlve turned the subtitles ON, I can't understand anything
Somehow i found out that the advisor is very weak against xen grenades
