They wouldn't say anything so negative, they just don't go there. Similar on other places where they are dissed--there are a couple of awards shows that they don't go to anymore, just tape acceptance speeches.
They have more class than that. they spoke their peace by unfollowing her and I don't blame them. In the Korean culture they don't openly speak about s3x and who they hook up.
BTS designed these characters to be like themselves, there is a little documentary that follows them from beginning to end when designing BT21.

The narrator exaggerated some things a bit. After seeing her demand to know if they were hooking up with fans, ARMY had absolutely no question as to why BTS would break ties with her. Frankly, we expected it. They stopped appearing on James Cordon, too, although that was right before he ended his show. James made a joke about ARMYs being teenaged girls and ARMY got offended by it. Especially since literally 3/4ths of ARMY are legally adults. BTS went back on his show once after that and RM immediately confronted James about it, but James kind of stepped around an actual apology. RM made a comment that he could "hear what you're saying" and James didn't catch that RM meant that he could also hear what James was NOT saying. None of the BTS members went back on his show, even when they were doing solo promotions and appeared on Jimmy Fallon's show. You mess up, BTS will give you a chance to make it right. If you don't, then you're done as far as they are concerned.

Here's the thing at these kind of shows you are kind of directed when to remain quiet and when to clap, make noise etc. I think the audience was told to keep quiet but then they were surprised when the audience didn't scream when RM introduced himself and so they quickly told them to make noise. I don't think it's the audience's fault at all, but the people in charge who didn't encourage the audience to cheer right away. The same thing probably would've happened to any one of the members had they gone first. I think Suga was more scared of J-Hope falling off the couch than the person jumping out of the box.
A recommendation I have is BTS playing Flinch on the James Corden show, it's hilarious. I know a lot of people don't really care for James Corden either but he did have some hilarious segments with BTS.

My first intro to BTS was Corden’s sidewalk concert. It was so crazy it was hilarious! And a new (aging) ARMY was born.
You saw one of her main Acts on this video without realizing it. They were traveling and performing under a lot of stress because of very serious death threats towards jimin. And she had the audacity to have somebody jump out of a concealed container right beside jimin. He was lucky Jim and didn't hurt him. Notice how RM checked to see if the guys were all right. She knew what she was doing.
It was so disrespectful and unkind of her to treat these young men (who had at that time limited english) and South Korea like this. These young men respect and love all Army. So rude of her and evil.

Sure, they never said it because they aren't petty but they also never went back - that alone speaks volumes. We do know that it's often BTS' way to show that they didn't like what happened in the past and how they were treated. So it's safe to say that they don't want to go there anymore for some reason, whether it's those or unrelated backstage reasons
True, however they let their feet do the talking and don't go back to the places where they've been insulted or made to feel uncomfortable. They are very classy about things, even when it come's to Certain Kpop Award Show's they won't attend even if they win an award they'll simply send in a videoed acceptance speech rather that go in person.

I had heard that Jimin had been receiving death threats at the time of the Ellen interview where the person jumped out and scared them. Can you imagine how scared Jimin and the boys would have been.

i know that most of the older videos shows many girl and women in audience BUT u should check some of the fancam videos from Las Vegas consert where the guys are cheering... its a great example how big and diverse the ARMYs are
This youtuber is not a good source. The hookup question was awkward and they didn't like it. They appeared later and that's when RM said now everyone in Korea knew the meaning. They would never take advantage of a fan in that way. It would break the trust they have with Army.

"the whole hooked up thing". What westerners don't understand and why you'll never see that question on a Korean talk show is that it is a career ender. In Korea, a scandal involving an idol will literally end that person's career. He/she will not be able to appear on TV etc for at least 5 years (which is a lifetime in Kpop).
I know of one scandal from many years ago, where an idol/actor got a girlfriend pregnant and then refused to marry her. Boom! You didn't see him on tv or in movies. 6 or 7 years later he tried to make a comeback in an indie film but that was the end of his career.
For years, the tabloids in Korea would send reporters out to dog BTS and try to catch the boys in a compromising photo, but they never could. The boys were always careful to go places with other members and only appear in groups.
I don't know how worth it these videos are to react to, to be honest. A lot of people like to make money of BTS' name, so they make these sensationalist videos knowing army will click on them. But BTS repeat to us: trust us. They put out Run BTS variety show, In the Soop and Bon Voyage reality travel shows, individual vlogs, Bangtan bombs and BTS episodes of when they do different filming and shows.. do we need more content NOT made by them, which is just clickbait? You'll see all you need to know from their own content. Armys rate the Taylor Mari guide, x-celeste channel, SugaArmy channel, and the Rise of Bangtan to name a few fan made videos. Actually there are a whole series of these channels that I think are run by AI. (They always mess up the names of the members)
This channel is iffy. Check out some of the others that were recommended. A bit sensational. BTS never said anything negative about Ellen, they have too much class for that. They just unfollowed and did not go back. Also by that time her show was getting a bad reputation.
The problem was, she Insisted on asking the Same question Every time they appeared on her show!

You could watch a MV's behind the scenes and there's always someone 'fixing' something regarding their looks.
I've got the suspicion that is true that Big Hit has an 'ARMY manager' as they put it on Weverse so they have ALL the intel on ARMY activities in Korea and internationally and not only general stats. This would explain Suchwita editors among other stuff. 💜

I agree with u in the RM situation . Some fans wanted to push that narrative of the oldest members not getting love which us WRONG ! . RM went first and he already talked before so the fans heard his voice but the others didn't say a word it was their first time speaking that's why the fans cheered loudly .
I have a friend in LA that knows a lot of famous people. She told me 20 years ago that Ellen had a reputation for being nasty and not liked by most of Hollywood. She was correct
BT21 is also an animated cartoon series. (For kids of all ages) It has a UA-cam channel. Mang is Jhope’s character. He used to have the blue horse mask but recently he took off the mask, revealing the purple chipmunk underneath. They each have emojis too, used as shorthand on Twitter, etc. His was always a chipmunk. Their emojis:
RM-🐨 Jin-🐹 Suga-🐱 Jhope-🐿️ Jimin-🐥 V-🐯or🐻 Jungkook-🐰. RM, Jhope & JK’s BT21 are the same animal as their emojis, the others are different. 💜. My favorite BT21 (not the same as BTS bias) is Jin’s RJ, the alpaca. 🦙
The BT21 characters have their own cartoon series. It’s cute and geared more towards kids. They also have Tiny Tan characters which are very cute and they also have some nice videos. You should check them out with your daughter. They also have their own video game call Hello BT21. You need to listen to some more music as you have barely scratched the surface of their catalog. For you I would suggest Airplane part 2 which has a Latin beat to it but is sung in Japanese. Also check out Jimin’s songs Lie, Filter and Serendipity. None of them have official videos so look for live versions. Watch all 3 together in one shot we don’t mind. 💜

The name BT21 is significant because the 21 represents the year 2021 which is when BTS came up with their characters. They also drew their characters and had them designed. There are 8 in total. RJ which represents Jin, Shooky which represents Suga, Mang which represents J-Hope, Chimmy which represents Jimin. Tata which represents Taehyung and Kooky which represents Jungkook. BTS came up with a character for ARMY whose name is VAN.
Edit: Koya is a koala who represents RM.

-I think Shooky is a cookie. Unrelated to Kooky, even though their names are similar.

Just wanted to say... HI! I've caught a few of your videos in the past but finally subscribed. Congrats on 10k!!! 💜Like you I'm older⁴an older USA ARMY... even older than you. I've been ARMY since 2014. I love that you are a new baby ARMY who has gotten into them because of your daughter. What a great dad!!! I found them after my husband passed at much to early an age. We both practiced the Korean Martial Art system Kuk Sool Won and loved watching Korean and other Asian movies... so I guess the UA-cam algorithm sent me to their practice videos one night when I couldn't sleep. At the time I was barely holding it together to keep working and being strong for my kids. Everything was dark and cold. BTS helped provide a spark and a way out of the dark. Like BTS it was a long path but I didn't feel so alone. Now I had BTS and other ARMYs too. My kids are not BTS fans but they support it especially now that they are grown. For Mother's Day they got me a BTS plus blanket and fuzzy socks. I don't any friends that understand. BTS isn't as well known (crazy huh?) In the southeastern states... which is likely because they haven't done concerts here.
Though I’ve heard that BTS did not provide “approved” questions to these interviews (a podcaster who has interviewed them a few times confirmed that), she could have been a but more respectful and sensitive to their ages too. She just wanted ratings and the typical American intrusive questions.
Anyway, I’m sure they probably tell them what not to ask now! 💜
Well, when they tried to avoid the questions or looked uncomfortable she insisted and that tells a lot about the person she is. Most interviewers don't push like that even when they do ask rude questions

It's a mute point now since she has retired. She was asking blunt questions towards the backend of her show. If the allegations of what many have stated are true It's truly sad. I and I am sure many of us enjoyed her but it only takes one negative to destroy someone's career, that it did! There are so many "sensationalized" fan-made videos like this and I try to tell my 75 yr old ARMY mom not to trust them as real news. Yes, the "hooking up" question from Ellen was cringe but that's about it. They have been in many interviews where cringe questions are asked and that's on them for not trying harder to ask intelligent questions. Really does more damage to the interviewer/show than it does to BTS. I assume any ARMY (or anti-BTS) blowing these things out of proportion are either still young or live for the drama.
