An excited call from the super dreadnoughts observation platform causes a courus of cheers from both the humans and natives of equis to errupt across the fleet. Flocks of people move to the starboard side of every ship and eye the horizon for the large island. The recon planes reported that the island held no sign of alteration. No sign of sentient life. Perfect. The excited cheers are drowned out by a wall of noise from the fleets escort carrier as helicopters and VTOL Transports spool up their engines and are loaded with squads of armed troops to secure a safe area for the support ships hovercraft to begin ferrying people ashore. The fleet makes a slow turn for the island. A looming mass of thick flora tinted bright orange by the rising sun. Their new home...
A friend and I are co-writing this into a fimfiction. Two fleets from two nations currently at war are forced to face reality. Their not home anymore. The two former enemies must now play nice with eachother... cause the locals certainly dont want to...
I just stumbled upon this song the other day, and I like it a lot. However, I do think that your singing does get drowned out by the instrumental, especially during the chorus, and the vocals in the chorus don't match the intensity of the of the instrumental. This makes it sound like you are mumbling at the end of some lines. Perhaps you could rework this if you ever decide to redo this song in the future. Otherwise, great work.
