So happy he found a fur-ever home with two amazing young ladies who understood him and gave him the time he needed to get comfortable with them. ♡♡♡

Oh my goodness, I am in awe of these wonderful ladies - the calm, gentle patience they showed when first meeting Grant was spot-on perfect. It is wonderful to see him smile with his whole being when he appears from the boat at the end!! ❤❤❤

First I saw them I just knew they would look after him. And they introduced themselves perfectly to him. Little Grant is gonna be ok and that makes me smile.
What a great couple. They are kindred spirits ! They gave him thier hearts when no one would even give him a chance. Now look at the amazingly handsome little character they share thier lives with .

I genuinely wonder how they determine, this particular dog is likely suited for boat living, yet their others 'wouldn't cope for various reasons'.
Canal boats are very cave-like for animals that are afraid. It's enclosed and safe, especially with people who know how to be low key.

so the staff considered another dog in this episode that had a record of escaping and they decided not to show it to the girls because it wouldn't be good for a dog. I would say an ideal boat dog would be the same as an ideal apartment dog. Small, doesn't need a huge amount of exercise, doesn't escape, OK to be a lapdog and live indoors.
They seemed so good with that dog. And I love their hair styles! (Same colour as the dog! It was meant to be)

Because me and my husband live on a boat with our 2 border terriers. We are not suitable to adopt even though we can give a dog, especially an oldie overlooked one a home 😭
