Mylène Gautier, dite Mylène Farmer, est une autrice-compositrice-interprète, productrice et actrice franco-canadienne, née le 12 septembre 1961 à Pierrefonds au Québec (Canada).
Le clip Désenchantée tourné à Budapest en février 1991 est réalisé par Laurent Boutonnat.
Il est diffusé en avant-première sur Antenne 2 le 03 avril 1991.
C'est à cette époque, en novembre 1991, qu'un drame se produit au sein des locaux de sa maison de disques lorsque Laurent Berger, un fan obsédé par la chanteuse, tue d’un coup de fusil le réceptionniste de Polydor, Jean-François Pigaglio, car celui-ci refusait de lui donner l'adresse de son idole. Le forcené monte dans les étages, s'apprête à faire feu de nouveau, mais son arme s'enraye40. Mylène Farmer prend alors beaucoup de distance vis-à-vis de son personnage public, en se faisant de plus en plus discrète dans les médias41.
À la fin 1992, paraît le titre Que mon cœur lâche, dont le clip est réalisé par Luc Besson, annonçant la compilation de remixes Dance Remixes qui se verra récompensée d'un double disque d'or.
Incroyable que sur cette chaîne vous écoutez des chansons francophones, tant mieux, la musique n'a pas de frontière.

Just a music video inspired by Oliver Twist, shot in Budapest, Hungary, with children coming from institutes for the disabled or rehabilitation centers. This song in the early 90's comes from a huge morosity in France and around the world with the Gulf War, strikes from students in France who were so disappointed by the French President Mitterrand re-elected in 1988. Mylène was very low at the time too, suffering some kind of depression after her first huge tour in 1989. After 4 months of lethargy feeling empty, useless and isolated, Mylène started to write the album "L'Autre..." in which you can find Désanchantée, Regrets, Je t'aime mélancolie etc.

IDK who has remastered the clip but in wanting to have a perfect pic, it has denatured the clip which is usually darker, with less contrast while having more grain.
It looks like we've added a "diffused" light effect. This makes the image much too sharp and removes the cinematic effect for a very prominent video effect that doesn't at all suit this clip, precisely very cinematic.
Same with the sound, apparently here it was compressed using an added effect. While on the contrary, it's a title that needs a very "natural" sound to develop all its power.
The best is the enemy of good.
