You find the best deck products man. Always following the innovation in the industry and your passion is beyond noticeable 👌. Nice job brother. Happy new year buddy
This is a nice looking product, how would this compare to Deckorators deck boards? I think it's advertised as not having expansion and contraction issues like we get with Azek products and such
@@woodbullyltd I wish they made one by material for wrapping posts and beams. We're doing that on a job now at the moment using azek and it's all cupped and bowed before we even start milling and routing it. We pulled the protecting wrapping off two of the posts we made and the ink writing has stained the azek. I'm not a fan of the stuff
@@woodbullyltd installed Deckarator for the first time this fall. The weight difference alone is a plus and seems like a better product overall. Guess time will tell.
worth mentioning wd-40 silicone can give severe skin reaction and it's important to use gloves and don't touch your face while handling it. don't ask me how i know ;)
Sure is difficult, you only get one go with the screws, if you take them out they leave a horrible hole with broken fibres, honestly mill board is the most inconsistent different width, different size factory beveled rubbish I’ve have ever installed, for a man made product it’s pretty poor
@woodbullyltd I understood that 😉 youtube is where pedantry floorishes. I wonder what the long-term holding power of those screws is with its small head surface area lacking compressive force.
I did not know that trick with the disappearing screws and siliconized WD. Nicely done

I appreciate that!
~$15.00 per sq ft via a UK seller Jan 6, 2024. Boards are ~ 8" x 144" x 1 1/4" ~$118.00 per board. Looks great but not in my price range.
What if you want to pull up a board? How do you find the screws??
May have to just pull through

Deckorators is also great.

Can we use the silicon spray on the coated deck screws?
No need to
Love your work.
Thanks brother!

Now try to find and replace the screws.
Cool stuff
I'm still trying to figure out how he pronounces composite and why it sounds weird.
I’m Canadian
@@woodbullyltd That explains it! Totally forgiven.
Looks horrendous to take up again if you ever have to :)

The fastener is self healing ? Doubtful
The decking with this fastener.

They don't disappear.
🤷♂️
if you don't keep track of where you have screwed you will never find some of them it is crazy how they disappear i the weathered oak.
Look at the beam behind him. Looks like a skate board park feature.
