You know we frantically run around all Summer just trying to get ready for Winter, and extra time is spent at the lake or in the river. But I'm journaling regularly, I'll find a live soon. Tommy! On catch up! I KNOW what I’d do if they ‘ launched’…. It already happened for me. 1987 - We had just moved up to Edinburgh, Scotland and were staying with my in laws while we found a house. I used to sleep like the dead..but I awoke that sunny morning, and heard an oh so terrifying sound. The air aid sirens - think WWll. “Wtf?” I thought.. It went on..and on. So..not a fault. The Three Minute Warning. My husband was asleep beside me. Our daughter 7 and son aged 3 in the next bedroom fast asleep. As were my parents in law. I thought to wake them. “But WHY?” ..I thought.. everyone is asleep, comfortable and at peace. I snuggled into my husband and waited. The siren went on for quite some minutes. Then stopped. 😅 At breakfast I explained to everyone & my father in law checked to tv news. Sure enough, Edinburgh had had a Nuclear Strike warning - a false one due to some problem or other. It was.. and still is pretty surreal! ❤️💙💚

I think the ppl who respond horribly has to do with this sense they know better than you and they are gonna tell you without regard for how the person receiving it might feel...ie...they have no empathy... be very careful of those people

I came from the SPTV community, which I am still a part of, however, not watching much of that content. I love that community because everyone is so kind and it is about helping others. There hasn't been much of that, these days. But it worked out because I started watching this channel and Cults & Crims instead. I don't regret that at all. This community is filled to the brim with kind, helpful people. This is what this world needs. It has certainty helped me in leaps and bounds in a very short time. Positivity breeds positivity. It works the other too, unfortunately. I want to be a part of the positivity group.

Taking your advice on Journaling. I've always had a journal but just wrote down major events as a way to document events, work out emotional problems. Just pages and pages once a year maybe. Just downloaded an app for my phone to make notes on things daily or more than. My memory is failing so I'm recording that stuff. Also feeling and irritations etc. I'll see if I can keep it up. I like what you said abt external hard drive.
