What a beautiful set of cards. I love this technique, very easy to do, but makes a great impact. Putting the colored card behind the white card front really stepped up the design. Thanks for sharing.
@Natasha Foote • In addition to the graphic nature of this card, I like the fact that it is easy to assemble. When we work with other multi-piece dies, we need to think. Since we all know circles, once the colors are selected and pieces cut, we really get to "play" with the pretty pieces. Both alternatives for finishing the card worked perfectly. I'm glad you showed the second example without the sentiment banner. I thought it was going to look out-of-place. Instead, it just enhanced the graphic quality of the card. Another amazing idea producing more amazing cards. Thanks. 👍
Good morning. I really enjoyed this video today, who would have thought to put circles on a card and make a gorgeous picture. Only you. Thank you so much for showing this style Natasha x ❤️
@Vickie • I agree. The problem I have is I wouldn't have thought of adding a border, particularly once I had glued it. The amazing Natasha recognized a problem and knew exactly how to fix it.
Natasha these cards are wonderful! We can use them for men or women, too! I think you made a great choice adding that thin border around the first card! They are both fabulous!
Oh these are stunners, Natasha! I actually say that about most of your cards, so don’t mind me if you’ve heard (read) that comment before. Ha ha! I truly enjoy how you jump in and put a card together. I know it isn’t like that and that you actually put quite a bit of time into planning your cards and videos. But you present in such a way that you make us feel confident in accomplishing the same or similar card project. I guess I’m trying to say that you are relatable. Lol! Well, enough of my ramblings. TFS and God bless you!
What a beautiful springboard of an idea! I viewed your video a little late and have enjoyed the creative posts using your Layered Waves technique. This technique is perfect for any holiday and just about any occasion. Thank you so very much for sharing. Hope you are feeling better.
This technique is simply gorgeous and so effective. This would look really nice in glitter card stock for a Christmas card I think. Another inspirational video thanks once again for sharing your creativity Natasha
Your card had a very 70s vibe. When we bought our house 25 years ago there were curtains in the rumpus room with a pattern very similar to your card but in shades of brown . Now they would be retro but then I hated them :) :) I’m making baby cards atm and I’ll be giving this a go. Thanks xx
These waves would look so cute in different shades of pinks or blues, if you know the sex of the baby! If not I can see shades of yellows or pastel greens.
Très jolies ces cartes avec des effets de vagues dans le style de celle du 8 aout que je viens de regarder et faciles à reproduire je pense avec ma petite fille de 8 ans qui se débrouille déjà bien en scraap🤩
I have often seen the finished look of this technique......and now I know how to do it. Finally. Thank you so much for sharing this great technique. Your cards look beautiful. 😍
I love this technique. I'll definitely be trying this one. Thanks so much for taking the time to make these videos and inspiring a crafter with little imagination! X
