LOL The worst story I heard involving a whale shark was a diver ACCIDENTALLY getting sucked. The shark spit him out! They're filter feeders and eat plankton. Whale sharks are probably less dangerous around people than most dolphins, porpoises, and whales. I do remember seeing a nature special where Robin Williams got head-butted by a dolphin with an attitude!
