If you unscrew the head of the shower you'll put water faster in the washing machine. Great laundry, by the way.

Forgot to add, about the lint, if you place an old sock at the end of the drain tube, fix it with an elastic band, you'll get all the lint off your drainage whole.

Another thing to mention is that some people are not blessed with a perfect neighborhood. By buying a portable washer reduces on the risk of something bad happening at the laundromat (I was almost kidnapped at one once). Its also less money as I get free water, trash, and heating.

I lived in apartment in CA with NO laundry hook ups, with a baby, and coin operated laundry...I ended up find out about the portable washers and it was a game-changer. I also used the drying rack and it was AWESOME. Put the kid down for a nap, do a small load, put them clothes on the drying rack...dry in a few hours. Brilliant. Through the years as a military person, I have lived in various housing that had no hook-ups and that portable washer moved with me like a faithful companion. I, too, found it at a Goodwill close to base. I now live in a house and the kid is grown, but if my washer ever went out and I did not have the funds to fix or replace it, I would grab a portable one of these again in a heartbeat. Thanks for helping spread some good feels to those who may benefit from it. Peace & cheers.

The added benefit of using that drying rack, instead of a dryer, it that hanging clothes out to dry is better for the fabric and elastic and your clothes, blankets, and bed sheets last longer. Not to mention you save on electricity. When I buy a house, I'm puting up a clothes line and only using the dryer for emergencies!

I had the opposite experience once. I put my laundry in the dryer, went upstairs to my apartment, and when I came back, someone had added jackets and blankets in with my laundry to get it dried for free! My laundry didn't dry because of all the extra crap (theirs did because of the material it was made of) and I had to pay TWICE to dry my clothes so they could get theirs done for free! I was NOT happy! That is just as much theft as if they took my laundry! ☹️

Pet Baby Crochet I absolutely HATED when people would leave their clothes in the washer or in the dryer and I’d come back downstairs with all my stuff almost every hour hoping they took their stuff so I could use a machine. NOPE. Not even when I check the next morning. So annoying. Then at a family members house they never cleaned their front load washer properly and all my clothes would smell moldy. There was no winning in that situation. Now the apartment I live in the landlord said there’s a hookup but won’t let us buy a washer and dryer because water is expensive (we don’t pay water at this current apartment). I fully convinced my husband to order a portable washer and it’s coming in a few days 🙏🏽 I can’t wait. I’m tired of hand washing clothes

I bought one of these based on all the reviews on UA-cam. I got it from Google Express for about 80 bucks, and that includes shipping. My regular washer died and I couldn't afford to replace it. Apparently, the laundromat washers didn't clean my clothes at all. My little machine gets everything so clean. I will never worry about buying a full sized one again. I have 3 quilts that don't fit, but my blankets and sheets do.

@@christinasalazar6962, my biggest blanket is 99 inches by 60 inches, it fits to wash, but it is too big to spin. Most of my blankets are throws, 50 inches by 60 inches. I live in a warm place with almost no winter. The throws wash and spin 2 at a time.
      My sheets are queen.
My husband, being male, is a big person, over 6 feet tall. I can do maybe 1 pair of his jeans, maybe 2 t shirts and a few socks. I can wash almost triple of my clothes, since they are pretty small. I can easily do 3 or 4 outfits and a few other things.

What a fantastic invention. Thank you for your tutorial and 1year later review. I also seen they have a portable dryer that has an attachment that almost resembles a hair dryer. It was around 35$. It folds up and comes in a carry bag. I live in a small ranch, we have hookups but the space isn't large enough to fit a stackable! Ugh. I bought the Della because if you. I used the Della for almost 2 years. My apartment had a washer dryer hookup yet I was a poor full time student. Now that I’ve been making more money, I tried to stay using my Della but then corona virus happened and I was terrified to take my queen size comforter to the laundry Mat, which I had been doing since the Della isn’t large enough. Now that I’m back to the front load washer I do feel the Della was a lot of work. Lol. But defiantly worth the money and beats the laundry mat. However, I haven’t bought a dryer because air drying my clothes has allowed them to last much longer. It’s amazing how damaging the heat from the dryer is, even to quality, expensive clothing.

I love mine! I purchased it for a place we seldom go but I didn’t want or need a full size washer and dryer...I use it like camping sort of....I like to spin after washing and spray to wet the clothes to about as wet as there were coming out the washer and spin them a few times before rinsing in a full tub again....this allows me to rinse several pieces then turning it into wash water for more :) it surprises me every time how much I get done with it!

Thank you so much!! I've thought about buying one for years. I knew of them b/c of my travels to the UK & Europe. I agree with you about finding a place you really like and understand the distress of going to a laundromat. I recently lost money in a machine. Where I live you have to request a refund that comes weeks later in the form of a check. 🙄
The good thing about a nice professionally run laundromat is if something goes wrong it will be taken care of immediately. I used to go to one in a different city from where I live now. I have not found a nice one where I live now so I've just stuck to the property.

After becoming frustrated with all the hands-on-other-peoples-stuff folks at the laundry mat, I stumbled upon your original vid a few years ago. I never knew anything about portable washers before seeing your vid. I couldn't find the della brand in the states; so, I ended up buying a 2 cu sq ft auto washer that I hook up to my kitchen sink. One of the best decisions I've made!!! It cleans better than those laundry mat washers.

I live in my RV and discovered this from a friend this last summer and just love it, I also found a cloths dryer that works in my RV its called the Panda and you hang your cloths and then cover with the blue tarp and turn the heat on, It takes longer that the conventional dryer but in 3 to 6 hours gets them nice and dry. you can find it on Amazon as well for a nominal fee.

Your video also helped me decide to purchase a portable washer. I got the Costway one, though, but it seems like these all pretty much work the same. I moved into my first apartment, and this is the first time I have lived without my own washer and dryer. Going to the laundromat was a pain in the butt, and not to mention money. I see this thing is quickly paying for itself. It also made sense for me to purchase it because I don't pay for water at this apartment, so why not?!
Thank you so much for this video! I was worried this was going to be some cheap gimmicky thing that didn't work, but after a few uses, I'm really happy! I miss having a dryer, though, but you get over it pretty fast with how convenient this is.

I used your video as my recommendation to buy my portable washer. I absolutely loved my washer so thank you for your review. My apartment ended up flooding due to the mainline was blocked and when my apartment flooded, the washer motor was ruined. In my house I now have a washer and dryer but will be purchasing another portable washer for my kids. They loved being able to wash their own clothes.

Thanks for the 1 year review. Often times someone uses something, shows it but then you never find out how durable it is. An idea (which I do) is have a tension shower curtain rod in the shower above the unit (close to ceiling) to hang your cloths on hangers... I then have a fan in the bathroom that I run and it doesn't take too long for the cloths to dry...

I am sooo in the market for this type of machine. I also live in an apartment (in the USA) and it does not have a washer/dryer; actually there's no where to really put one, but I think I've figured how I can store and use a portable one like this. Yours look a lot bigger than the others I've seen on UA-cam. Thank you for sharing.

Just found your channel today. Heck I say Any washing machine that works out for you I love. Your preference. Better than hand washing. In my teenage years living on my own, broke I sink wash everything dripped dry in the tub. So this washing machine is much better than that. Ty for sharing your thoughts and videos with us ALL. A whole year later. Thank you SO much for this review. I live in an apartment with a nice laundry room, however, with the corvid virus, we are anticipating it will be shut down soon. Thank you for your review. I just ordered it immediately. I think you saved my life, certainly my sanity. Love from Montana and be safe.

I have the same machine. It's huge! I got mine January 2018 on eBay so I've had it just over two years now. It still works great! My teenage son and I both each use it a couple times a week. I use mine in my kitchen. I put it on top of a rolling furniture moving thing I got for $14 at Walmart. It fits perfectly and I can move it around really easily. My faucet spout can be pulled out of the faucet and I fill it up with that. The drain hose drains into the sink. It's definitely a convenience! I don't have regular w/d hookups in my unit either. I do have a coin laundry here but it's just really inconvenient and expensive. I have to leave and go outside to access it. If it's snowing, it sucks to have to carry a basket or baskets of clothes back and forth, and make sure I'm done by a certain time and that no one else is using it when I need to. I don't pay for water where I live. In fact, I've never lived anywhere in the 20 years I've been on my own that I had to pay a water bill. I'm in CO. There are lots of places that charge water here, I guess I have just lucked out. What I do to rinse it out is I put everything in the spinner and then either pour a bucket of water in it or use the faucet sprayer that pulls out and add some water into it. I then turn the spinner on. But I don't close the lid. Once most of the water is drained, and I can see the drain hole is empty, I close it and start it to 5 minutes again. That's a good enough rinse cycle for me. I don't like having a bunch of water in it either. I've done that accidentally. I also wanted to mention that I can fit a full/queen size comforter in mine! Getting it into the spinner is a really tight fit but it works. I actually ended up getting a duvet cover and using it with my regular comforter so I don't have to wash it that often.

Glad I saw this. I think this will help me. There’s a laundry room on my floor but the 2 washers serve 26 apt. Because of health issues I can’t walk back and forth if it’s in use. Most of my laundry is house cloths and under garments. I think I would fill mine up in the tube and just take it out to shower. It cost me $5 in quarters to wash, with my health problems it takes my energy for the whole day.

I didnt know these existed until I saw your first video. Snagged one for myself and its been great..no more laundry mats. I built a rolling pedestal for mine and drain it into the shower(I just have a standing shower no tub) so I could just roll it into position and drain it into the shower. Its so much better because the laundry mat machiens would always bleach some of my clothes(because of excess bleach being left over from the previous wash) or snagg them and rip them..and the Dryer wasnt really good for my clothes either..so hang drying has helped to keep them in better shape..especially the undergarments. Its all thanks to your original video too.
