- Hi everyone, I hope you all are safe and healthy at home! Today I'm unboxing the beautiful Louis Vuitton Vavin PM in the color Tourterelle. This color is heavenly and the bag is a perfect size. It has a magnetic flap closure with shiny gold hardware. The bag has a main compartment with a front open pocket and a back zippered pocket.

Hi , I love this bag. I am debating on getting this bag in black empreinte leather or the vaugirard. The only thing I’m not sure if I like about this bad is that it’s long on me as a crossbody. I’m 5’3.

They switched the bags to a hidden rfid chip in 2021 so no more date codes, hope this helps 😀

Yes, mine it’s inside the back pocket. Some bags do not have a date code as LV is incorporating microchips, if you recently bought it that might be why you can’t find it!
We just purchased from the LV store and we were looking for the date code. My wife has to return for her second bag, but I was wondering the same thing. Guess she can ask when she goes for her second order of her PF twist belt Epi noir

I have a hard time to choose between Vavin and Pochette Métis turtledove.
I love both bags, but I honestly use my pochette metis way more than my Vavin!

Thank you!! I’m 5’2” and I think it can be used crossbody, although it’s not my most favorite I think it’s a little big, but it can be done.
@lvlovermj I’m 5’6” and I think it’s a great crossbody length! Petite people will likely find this to be long, although doable. Knowing bags that you love, this one would be right up your alley, sort of a cousin to the MyLockme Bb but in empriente!

That’s exciting!! Honestly I’m currently torn, I love the bag but I’ve only used it once, granted we’ve been at home for over a year due to the pandemic. I’m going to wait until after the summer and if I didn’t used it in my rotation I will sell it. But I totally recommend it, it’s a beautiful bag and very roomy. What color are you getting?
