That intro was much too insanely good. They really have nailed the toon look of this team and it's nice to see XTB with what seems like a very solid "win."
598 Robots i know right, i bought crackup, i figured that if the combined mode falls short i would just display the in normal robot mode, because they look awesome so far.
Thank you for engineering the F#@k out of these! The Stunticons are by far my favorites and so far, you've done right by them. I do have concerns about Motormaster and the combined form though. Not the engineering, but rather the aesthetics. But I'll reserve judgment until I see more than renders on those.
Mr. Selleck was too tall for the car! For the series, they had to mount the seats further back & remove the bottom cushion so he can fit better, but his head was still higher than the windshield. That's why it was always open-top. Similar to Sean Connery in "You Only Live Twice". Toyota chopped the top off their concept GT2000 so he could fit!
I never thought I would ever see cartoon accurate Stunticons, but you have made it possible! Amazing :) Could you please do the Combaticons next? There are a ton of Combaticon figures out there but none of them actually look like anything... Can't wait to see what your versions would look like! In the mean time I'm getting two of each of these Stunticons. So I can display the single robotmodes and an eventual Menasor both at the same time :)

I've always been a fan of X-transbots. Their sculpts have always been some of the best third party has to offer. I own several of their pieces, like their megatron, scourge, and cyclonus, and I love them. Their releases have been getting better with each new figure. Hope they think out of the box with future releases and give us a sky lynx or maybe some sharkticons

I actually follow a lot of reviewers, even one's that don't like my designs or how they're produced. It's ok to hear differing opinions. I learn from those. You should allow yourself to watch them too. :) Thanks for the kind words and glad you're enjoying crackup brother.
Edit to my previous comment: Starting at 8:38 outward movement for the arms is there. I'm not sure how I missed that lol. When I heard ball joints, Apollyon came to mind. And I guess what my real concern was if we were going to see a similar issue as Apollyon's shoulders. Anyway, sorry for the confusion.
So far so good with this set. I am interested in what's going on in camp DX9, too, though. I like the bigger bot size but not the bigger price tag. :) Honestly, I have not been able to figure out the size they are supposed to be. BUT, I never thought Onslaught towered over them like OP towers over the carbots. So, I would assume in my mind that the Stunticons should be the larger size like DX9 has gone with. With that said, If DX9 doesn't get some beige on Montana, I don't know I can accept a white version of what I know to be a beige carbot. Sheesh...the never-ending foul ups of transforming toy making.
yeah, it's preference thing. I felt the cars should be about the size of cars. But others disagree. It's boils down to how you want your display to look.
Don't tell FT but my Koot and Rouge are still sealed in the box. I'm still waiting on 589's scale accurate movie bots... I hope the 3P Targetmasters will scale with MP-40 too, both bot and the Nebulon partners.
So at a natural stance he stands at 48.6 cm to the top of his head and 50.4 cm to the top of his horns. Now it could be slightly different when the factory is done with it but not more or less than a few millimeters.

I can't honestly recommend a paint color but if you have a hobby shop near by take it and compare to testors modelmasters. you might need to get a few to mix. start with white and experiment with mixing some with that. Test your mixture on a similar colored plastic and allow it to dry before you decide. hope that helps. I think they'll show off the rest as it comes out of the factory. Probably later this summer.
I know that it's toon accurate but I don't know, the rectangle torso doesn't fully convince me. That said, I really like the transformation and the articulation, he looks really expressive when posing!
This is a fantastic looking figure, but this overview didn't cover the range of motion for the arms. I was wondering, with those ball joints, what kind of mobility can be expected from this figure's shoulders/arms?
Not to overstep my boundaries, but I'm expecting the same range of articulation as Crackup... perhaps 589 can start giving us butterfly joints and doors that can open and close! =)

Gravestone is only the cab the trailers are independent. In order for him to scale well with MP10 in both modes I had to make the cab itself be the transformer.
Hey 598, I'm finding that my Flipout doesn't have clearance in alt-mode: the chest is scraping against the ground a bit. Do you have any tips for transforming him differently to get a bit of clearance?

My friend this is just amazing. Congratulations, you are doing an excellent job there. I'd like to replicate FlipOut in wood but the hinges are too small, I should oversize it. But then it wouldn't fit in my collection. So, the only choice I have is preorder him. Do you know if Toy Doyo sends items to Honduras?

Not sure what Gravestone will cost but the other cars will be the same cost as flipout I believe. The price of the first was a intro price and was meant to deter from the model theft.

This one isn't modeled on a 288. The first thing you notice on the 288 compared to 308 are the windows behind the passenger windows. the boxer also has the wrong windows back there when compared to the toy.

How many inches or centimeters is Berserkar (Menasor) is it the same size as TransFormMission Menasor
he's in the 49cm range. I'm not sure how tall the transformission one stands.

I just wasn't thrilled with my first attempt. I had a formula that I use to use with my faces and I think it has outlived it's usefulness.

PS. The carbot scale you pulled out makes sense while the "other two" companies... well, let's just say politely they didn't do well at the scale department and one of them also fails when it comes to aesthetics. 😂
@@TAURON85 Can't really be sure exactly when they'll land so I won't speculate. As for the others, I know it seems inevitable but I try to avoid comparing and contrasting with other companies. Main goal is to follow our path and to try to keep improving. :)

This one isn't modeled on a 288. The first thing you notice on the 288 compared to 308 are the windows behind the passenger windows. the boxer also has the wrong windows back there when compared to the toy.
