Back in Bonnie Scotland,I bought this LP as soon as it was released...mainly because it contained "That's what you do to me" a track written by two of my Texan heroes..Earl Sinks and Bob Montgomery(who passed away last month) But after listening to "It's Everly Time"...I became a firm fan of Don and Phil and still enjoy listening to their timeless music.
The incomparable sound of the "early" Everlys allows for incomparable reminiscing. No real hit yet on that CD ... but, the harmony of their voices makes it worth listening to from beginning to end. Thanks for sharing the abundance of your memorabilia so generously!
"It's Everly Time" Is one of those album form the early 60s that really works as an album. It wasn't like a hit single and lot's of filler. It closed out with a great version of Fats Dominos "I Want You to Know" Those harmonies they were a one off.

I don't think these brothers knew back than that they were making history. I guess no one knows until it happends, especially when there's personal and family problems is concern. I hope don and phil were on good terms before he passed away.
Outstanding harmonies from these two handsome guys
Still listen to their music. Awesome duo!
