Homemade is always best,I've always tried to do from scratch,I don't like packaged food,my momma ruined that by cooking so good. Thank you for showing these recipes for cream of soups.😊
It's so much better than the canned stuff. Forty years ago, I started making my own cream of soups., and cooking from scratch. I had issues with severe migraines, and back then, the canned soups, and many foods I was using, all had MSG. I add a bit of minced onion to my cream soups, and a dash of worcestershire to my mushroom soup..
I never knew making soup could be this easy. You are so right the ones in the store have so many ingredients and preservatives. Thanks for all the great recipes.
I am so impressed with this video! You have just convinced me that making my own condensed soups is the way to go, and so much healthier! Thank you for sharing your culinary talents with us. You are the best, sis!! ❤❤
Rose they are amazing, thank you for showing me this. Could you please do a cream of tomato too? I use the canned ones a lot and would love help to make my own
Thank you! My sweet baby granddaughter might need gluten free, we are discovering.. poor thing 😢 So I’ve been searching for recipes. By the way, just an FYI, I have read that the Better Than Bullion company had to remove the “gluten free” label, because apparently they aren’t. But I also read they are wheat free, but not GF. Just a heads up ❤
Yum 😋... I needed these recipes . Due to being gluten-free... now how long can it store in the fridge before I need to use it.. ? (not freezer but the refrigerator ) Thank you so much for your time and help. Much love and respect ✊ ❤
@@beverlyhorn2024 Since it has chicken stock, I would only keep it in fridge 4-5 days, but it freezes well. When I make up a lot, I freeze it in 1 cup containers 🌹
Cornstarch contains 9 grams of carbs in 1 Tablespoon, so the creamed soups Rose makes would have 27 grams of carbs from the cornstarch. One Tablespoon of flour contains 6 grams of carbs, but you need twice as much flour for the same thickening as cornstarch. So 6 Tablespoons of flour would contain 36 grams of carbs. Arrowroot flour (which I have not used) has 7.32 grams of carbs in a Tablespoon, but you need ⅓ as much arrowroot as flour. So, in Rose's recipe, you would need 1 Tablespoon for the same thickening. I do not know how arrowroot behaves for thickening.

Could you use beef gelatin in stead of cornstarch?
Now, you have me wondering if homemade condensed cheddar cheese soup is a possibility. Or even condensed tomato soup!
Rose please check how much carbs in corn starch 16:26 16:41

I use xathan gum for my son's keto diet but I don't like it in all things,I do like how easy it is to use,but I don't like the taste or smell🎉😊
